I had one sick, bloated and lopsided Betta but this product while following directions cured my Betta after 4-5 days of use plus fasting. I bought a back up to keep on hand

If your fish stops eating, do NOT continue using this. It will kill your fish.
I had a baby betta who was acting lethargic. I expected this to help out but all it did was stress my betta out and it stopped eating after 3 days. I tried pellets, brine shrimp, egg, small fish fry food, and it would not eat. I realized that after doing a water change from its hospital tank back to its regular tank my betta started to eat again only for a day and the next day he was gone :( My nitrates, nitrates, and ph level were all normal. After reading other one star reviews I noticed other people also said their Bettas stopped eating after using this "betta revive" with their betta in the tank and how it had removed its slimy coat! Then when I checked my betta I was shocked to see that was the case. How this hasn't been brought up as concern by the company whose made this? Please, anyone reading this review do NOT use this product for betta fish as a way to revive your fish if it has already stopped eating after usage. It will most likely make your betta fish stop eating more and it will die just like mine did. If your betta has stopped eating after usage of this, STOP USING THIS IMMEDIATELY AND PUT YOUR BETTA IN A CYCLED AQUARIUM NOT INCLUDING THIS. I see 5 star reviews that say it has worked, but please know that there is about a couple 1 star reviews now including mine of people saying this product is harmful and has killed their fish. There are other ways to help hopefully improve the condition of your betta like using a tinsy small amount of aquarium salt. I repeat, please do not use this product as a replacement for something like bettafix which I've seen work more in the past. 95% of the 5 star reviews have sold it healed their fish which sounds great, but I'm quite certain this product is what killed my fish after reading other reviews. If I could give a 0 star for this I would.

total life-saver!
This stuff is great. For two days, my betta sat lopsided -- almost laying on his side -- at the bottom of his tank. I did the recommended water changes to his 5g filtered tank, checked chemical levels, and made sure the tank was at a betta-comfort temperature. The culprit, I realized, was the pellets that I was feeding him (Aqueon Betta Food), causing him to have swim bladder disorder. I truly did not think he was going to make it; he looked like he was is such bad shape. So, after extensive research once noticing his condition, I ordered Betta Revive, as well as Hikari betta food (bio-gold pellets, brine shrimp, bloodworms, and daphnia). As soon as the package arrived, I immediately treated the tank with the Revive. It worked wonders: my betta was soon swimming around more and, within a couple of days (comprised of fasting, then a new, better diet), he was happy, healthy, and engaged. Thanks so much, Hikari! I definitely recommend Betta Revive, and the same goes for the above-mentioned Hikari fish food products.

Idk how I feel
I feel like this product is small but super potent! I treated my beta with this product and he immediately flipped to his side! I panicked I thought had died! Maybe I misused it, I tried it again 2 days later and he did the same thing. I was desperate my fish was on his way out & I had no clue what to do. I did research and assumed my fish had swimmers bladder & found Epsom salt could help. I did a 2 day treatment or Epsom salt and he slowly came back to life! He is better than ever! Def try Epsom salt before this product, this should be a last result! I almost think it sent my fish into a state of shock with a single drop.

Dropsy can't be cured by any meds
Don't know how it works yet, but let me be perfectly clear, THERE IS NO CURE FOR DROPSY! People that are saying that this cured Dropsy, evidently did not have a fish that had Dropsy, but something else that may have resembled Dropsy. Do not be fooled by anybody saying this or another fish aid cured Dropsy, because it is not possible. DROPSY is a most common and most fatal betta disease. oftentimes linked to the feeding of live foods, especially black worms. Very little is know about it, but what causes the raised scales is fluid building up under the skin, inside the betta's tissue. Usually what causes fluid to build up is simple KIDNEY FAILURE. And as you know, once the kidneys fail, the body dies (unless you have a dialysis machine for a fish, and we know there is no such thing). I think that is why we have had so little luck (mmmmm... Let me rephrase, NO LUCK AT ALL) in treating successfully bettas with dropsy. Although dropsy (the symptom) itself is not contagious, BACTERIA THAT CAUSE THE KIDNEY FAILURE in the first place usually are very very contagious. Like I said, No known cure. Keep water clean, keep him AWAY from any other bettas etc… On occasion, in the case of a very mild raised scales, I have seen bettas recover on their own. But I suspect that this is because those cases are NOT real dropsy. Real dropsy always kills. So I guess you have to wait and see what happens. Treating is pretty useless. It may take up to 15 days for betta to die, though usually about 5 days. Any betta with dropsy should be immediately ISOLATED!!!! Prayer may not hurt.

I read the reviews for this, and noticed some sick fish didn’t survive the shock of any water changes, so I was prepared either way as my poor guy was VERY sick. He was just laying with his head in the rocks, body floating up. He lost his colour and tail fins and didn’t eat for days. (He had been acting off for about a month) before he quickly deteriorated over a week. I didn’t think he would survive the 3 days it took for this order to come in, and he was listless when I took him out of his tank and put him in a 4cup measuring jug. It was easier to measure the drops that way (I also added his plant to give him a place to hide) but he just laid there on the bottom all night. The next day he was upright, and hungry. I changed fresh water and drops for 3 days and now he’s swimming and eating and blowing bubbles!!:) I was sure he was a goner! Can’t believe how quickly this worked! *I discovered my water Ph was too high and have since been able to adjust it.* This was a miracle worker for my little guy!❤️

My Beta seemed to be unwell i did half water change then daily 1/4 water change to no avail this was a last ditch effort and wow it worked now i don't know if it was mixture of this and the regular fresh water but something helped his so i'm glad i got this worth every penny and makes me feel better having it at age ready just in case

My Beta had fin rot, white fungus growing on his tail and fins. He was hiding all the time, I thought he wouldn’t make it. I isolated him in 2 cups of water, did daily water changes, exactly as the instructions said. It actually looked worse for the first few days I noticed parts of his tail breaking off at the bottom of the cup but I kept at it for 5 days. Finally on the fourth day there was no more tail breakage so I did one more day of treatment. On the fifth day I finally put him back in his tank and was he ever happy! He slept in his beta hammock all night then up for food at 7 am like normal. This stuff is a life saver! Thank you to whomever made this ♥️
