A good mic, No feedback probs, Clear sound, Hurts my ears and makes them stick out
I've never used a headset mic before, but I'm a keyboard player so I thought I would give it a try. I did't want to spend a fortune so price was OK. I think the headband is too large for me as I'm a female with a small head.It hangs down at the back. I wear glasses and find the ear pieces a uncomfortable. Also they make my ears stick out which is not very flattering. I would have liked a mute button

Sure Headset Mike.
For me, it’s probably the best solution for my vocals and playing keyboard/piano. Works and sounds quite well but you have to get the mike placement about right, ie at just the right distance to ride side of mouth, so as not to get pufs on p’s an b’s. I’ve only used it once on gigs so far and I had a couple of feed-back moments, but think that will be just a case of spreading my speakers further apart. However, I certainly like the freedom I’m experiencing whilst singing and playing with this headset mike.

Brilliant bit of kit
Fantastic bit of kit. Should have invested in one long ago. Excellent performance and makes my job as a drummer a lot easier. Don’t even know it’s there. New found freedom whilst playing and quality audio from the mic.

A good fit to the head and great vocal reproduction
I'm the lead singer in a rock band, as well as playing a range of instruments such as keys and bass. However I have always found it difficult to use a mirophone on a stand because of moving from instrument to instrument. I decided to try a head mounted mic, but did not have a budget allowing purchase of what seem to be top-end models. I know Sure as a solid brand, as over the years being involved in bands and also often working professionally in audio visual, TV and video production industries, we often used their products as wall as AKG or Sennheiser. So I decided to 'dip-my-toe' into this area by buying what appears to be a mid-priced model from a recognised maker, hence the Sure WH20. I have had the WH20 for a few months now and have to admit i'm very pleased with the sound reproduction in the studio and whilst I initially thought this headset microphone may only be good for live or practice, it's even produced very good results when recorded. The headset is fairly light, and I have worn it on occasion for over two hours continously, the belt clip is strong and firm and the XLR connector has not come loose. I'm very much looking forward to using it in a live situation.

So much better than anticipated
Bought it for recording quick vocal 'ideas' in the studio rather than using main mic - also for teams and facetime meetings... was amazed by the quality really pleased/surprised - they feel 'different' around the ears but I'm certain I shall get used to them... Fantastic Value!

Great!
Used for vocals while drumming - works a treat! Fit behind the ears can get a bit sore after a using for prolonged periods, but it's manageable.

SHURE WH20XLR HEADSET MICROPHONE
I needed a good quality microphone that could be worn by a vocalist playing bass guitar at the same time. This would avoid the need for the artist to have her head in the same position all the tme near a fixed microphone. As the mic would be used in a home studio , the transmitter was not needed. I ordered the version fitted with an XLR plug so as as to connect to my Mackie mixer. The unit arrived in the quoted time and works very well. Be aware that the output is on the low side and requires a good microphone amplifier.(The Mackie is more than adequate !)
