Can you carry it on a plane?

Yes, we have taken it on a place as a carry-on before without any problems.

Is this injection-molded, or is that just the Utility model?

Yes, both the Standard are Utility models are injection molded with a Polycarbonate/ABS blend.

Is there an off brand to this product? Looking for a cheaper option.

No, there's not. And why? Why would you want to search for a lower grade product when this product saves you from back pain while holding your laptop in uncommon positions or saves you from dropping your expensive laptop? The cheapest solution is to ducktape your laptop to the wall, but i doubt if your your customer will consider you a Pro ;-)

What size laptop can it hold?

Both MagBench models have a 12 x 12 inch surface which will support almost all laptops. The Standard model has two raised tabs to hold the laptop in place when it is opened to a position greater than 90 degrees. The tabs are about .25 inches in thickness, so the distance from the inside of the tabs to the face of the MagBench back panel is 11.75 inches. We hope this information answers your question.
