These are a must to save electric.
I hate to have to keep plugging up my electric appliances and the having to unplug them when finished. When an electric appliance is plugged into an outlet, many thing can happen. A poer surg can come through and ruin your appliance we uthout knowing it. Many thing can happen. It is nice to be able to turn the appliance off, even though it's plugged into the outlet. That way you don't have to worry. I also use a 6 outlet Surge Surppresser plugged into my regular out; to catch any power surges that might come through the outlet. You have to keep an eye on your surge suppressor to make sure it isn't filled up with power surges. If so you need to replace it.

Outlet switches are very handy
These grounded outlet switches are in service in my home. They make my under cabinet lighting easy to turn on/off. I am a happy customer.

Very useful
I use this with my multi-plug unit and charging units for iPhone and iPads also with other chargers. This way I don’t have the electricity running into chargers that are not in use.
