I bought these to hang in my garden to keep the birds out of my produce and also because I just thought they would look pretty. They are made out of simple, fairly light, shiny metal. They come flat and you bend them into the shape you want. I made mine so they would catch the most wind. They are surprisingly pretty for such a simple design and they seem to have worked as I have not seen any birds in my garden and I actually got to eat my kiwis myself this year instead of the birds eating them before I can get to them. These are inexpensive, attractive and seem to work.

These metal spinners are nice quality and beautiful. I love that each disc has it's own hook, providing you with versatility in how many you choose to connect together. It was very easy to twist them to get the desired look. These are delicate but not flimsy.

These are very pretty and very easy to assemble, needing only to use your fingers to push them open. They did keep the birds from nesting under my deck, however, they did not keep them from flying through the patio. Since they accomplished my needed purpose (no nesting swallows) I would recommend them. They look lovely dancing in the wind and sun and are superior to ribbon. I will be taking them down and saving them for next year when the swallows come back in the spring.

These look fine but don’t deter birds at all

The media could not be loaded. I'll just say that after trying some other reflective discs, these spiral reflectors accomplished what the others could not!They rotate at the slightest breeze, create intense reflective "dots," are BEAUTIFUL to look at and have QUICKLY gotten rid of our bird problem. To top it off, we've had hover flies for decades hanging out near our porch and patio without any hope of shooing them away, but something about the movement of light must've scared them off, because they are GONE! We can eat on the patio table without the kids getting grossed out by the very harmless (yet annoying) flies.I am sending these to all my family members! Please give these a try if you've had bird/hover fly problems! Worst case scenario, you can return them according to the return policy.

I would have given 0 stars if possible. Firstly, if you look at the pictures and watch the video, the items in those, according to the ad, are "mirror finish stainless steel." Ok, let me tell you what you'll actually be getting FOR $26!!!...1. The ones I got were circular (not hearts).2. They are smaller than the palm of my hand (which is completely incongruent with the pictures and video, which show something much larger than even a hand with fingers all extended).3. They're PLASTIC! One of them broke the first night when the wind gusted (I was able to fix by replacing one of the plastic discs, but still!!!).4. You get to build them yourself (It wasn't difficult at all, but for $26, you'd think they could at least put them together.Don't waste your money. The ONLY reason I am not returning them is because I bought them hastily because I needed them to put on our cabin to deter woodpecker while it's closed for the winter season, and I did not open them until we'd travelled 12 hours to our destination. Bottom line: I left them up, but I fully expect to not even be able to find them in the spring.

I hung mine on a birth feeder that I no longer use. Throughout the spring, summer, and fall I have only had ONE pooh to scrape off. It is actually quite pretty to watch as dancing flashes of light are produced when the sun is in a specific angle. It has withstood several thunderstorms with winds of 25-35 mph. glad I took a chance on this purchase

I was surprised by these hearts. First, they were smaller than I imagined, each about the size of my palm. (I should have read the description.) Plus, they were more delicate than I expected. But when assembled and hung, they are beautiful and work very well. I hung mine on a few tree branches that overhang my driveway and the birds have stayed away. This was their favorite meeting area and our car paid the price. Pro tip: don’t over twist the hearts. I did at first and they didn’t spin well in gentle wind. After closing the hearts up a bit they spin much better.
