Hi, Is the taste close to Falsa (Grewia asiatica)?

I haven't tried Falsa so I can not answer this with true accuracy. Nevertheless, I can say that they are not even a similar species, and the Freeze Dried Blackcurrant taste like a blackcurrant except it is obviously not fresh fruit and this is reflected in the taste as with all dried fruit. It is a healthy fruit to eat and worth a try. If you do, then you can answer your own question.

Looking at my packets. "Most fruit requires a hotter continental climate to grow, our fruit is grown on fruit farms in many countries around the world". There is no specific location given on individual packets. I have not yet found UK freeze dried blackcurrant yet I know from childhood that the bushes grow easily in England.
