Sleek-looking, well-running machine that is effective at filtering out hair and other debris. We have a plastic fountain for our cat that requires deep cleaning every month or more, and does the job but definitely wouldn’t hold up to our new frenchie puppy! This one has a better filtration system — both a sponge filter around the pump and a separate contaminant filter — has a handy window to see the water level, a blue light which emits a nice glow at night, and it is 100% SILENT. The interior parts are most plastic still, but ant least that’s less plastic to clean. Our puppy tried chewing on the fountain briefly but gave up because it’s a solid fountain :). We’ll soon be replacing our cat’s fountain with another one of these!!

Absolutely love this fountain. Easy to set up, easy to clean and the pump is silent. Our cat is drinking more water and even our dogs like drinking from the fountain. Water level window in the front makes it easy to keep it filled. Haley (customer service) has been great. Responded to e-mailed questions quickly and took care of my product registration. Would absolutely recommend this fountain.

This cat fountain has been a game changer for my 2 furry friends. At first, they weren't sure about it. They were used to their old fountain. We had to replace it because it started to leak out onto our floor. With that being said, they started to scope the fountain out and in no time were drinking from it. I did keep the old one just in case they didn't like it.This fountain is virtually silent. It has a nice window in the front so I can keep an eye on the water level. It has 2 different ways in which the water is dispensed.....a spout and a bubbler. I'm using the spout since this is what my cats are used to. It's ease of assembly is another plus. I'm not so technically inclined but I had no problem putting it together.....basically 5 minutes while the filter was soaking. The directions are clear, concise and straightforward.I would definitely recommend this fountain if you're looking for a game changer and great product. For the price you can't go wrong!

So far, so good with this water fountain. My cat is 18 and has some kidney issues, so my vet recommended getting a water fountain to encourage her to drink more water. At first she stayed away from it, but slowly she got curious and started using it. Now she will often just lay beside it and watch the water move! It is easy to put together. I have another cat, who I haven't seen use it yet, but the size seems appropriate for multiple cats. It's quiet as it runs - I use the faucet feature and do not hear it at all. I have had this for almost 2 weeks and checked the filter just yesterday. It had some hair in it, which I pulled out. I will change the filter as recommended. I like that I can see the water level through the front window so I know when it's time to put in fresh water, which so far has been every 2-3 days. I have the water separate from the food dishes because my cats would put the food in their water bowl. This fountain helps prevent that mess. I did not give 5 stars because I haven't had it long enough to say much else; but overall I'm happy with the performance so far!

This is a really good fountain but it does require a lot of time and devotion to keep properly clean, so that your cats can have access to the cleanest water possible. Cat fountains are excellent and cats love running water since they naturally avoid stagnant water (which might carry bacteria) in the wild. Good fountain yes, it just has to be kept very clean.The best cleaning schedule I've found so far is:- replace filter once a week- replace foam ring once a week- deep clean once a week- rinse and refill every two or three daysI used to fill it to maximum once a week, but I looked at the water at the end of the week, and there was hair and other debris at the bottom. Dump it and put in new water every couple days so your kitties don't have to drink water with little bits in it. The capacity is more than enough if replacing the water often. The water light is pretty bright and it looks really nice at night. I hope it's attractive to my cats too, but the jury is out on that one.Regarding the most important piece, the pump, it seems well built as far as I can tell. There have never been any issues with it getting clogged and it's been running fine every day since March. I will update if it ever kicks the bucket.Last thing, and very importantly, the one thing I hate about this fountain. Please be very careful when you clean the lid. It's very thin metal, and the holes in it were punched out, which means there is a VERY sharp edge where the holes are. I've sliced myself good on it three times now. To the company... if you could PLEASE find a way to smooth those edges, you need to. Cuts like a mandoline!

Looks exactly as pictured. Well-made and easy to set-up. One of our cats used it immediately and drank straight from the spout and the other was afraid at first but watched it for an hour before lapping from the bowl. Keeps the water fresh and the cats like the running water. Worked well when we left for a long weekend as we filled it to the maximum level and lasted until we returned. My daughter loved it so much she bought one for her cats and they love it as well. Highly recommend!

This is a great pet fountain! Stainless steel container and water pump keep water super fresh for your pets. Motor is super quiet. Great filters and very easy to clean. After trying several rechargeable fountains I decided to go with a plug-in product. The Neareal Cat Fountain is the real deal. My cats love it and drink more. I'm very satisfied.

There are so many fountains on Amazon that the comparisons become overwhelming. This one ended up being an excellent choice. It's very quiet. It doesn't splash onto the surrounding floor. The height is great for our cats. It holds lots of water, much more than needed between cleanings. Love the fact that it's stainless steel and dishwasher safe. All in all.... very happy to have chosen this Neareal fountain.
