Magnetic Bore Light (Black/Silver)

My husband was really pleased with his bore light highly recommended

Use this for checking firearms, as intended. Bloody bright, no corners cut there! I don't really use the magnetic function but its nice to have.

Bought as a bore inspection light. For this purpose it is a bit bright, as you are looking into the light down the bore. A thin paper 'diffusor' inserted above the LED bulb soon sorted that problem. For other uses i.e illuminating restricted, difficult to access areas, it will be fine. Using more 'normal' batteries would have been a bonus, although with an LED bulb, they should last well. Well made, pretty good value and, for a lot of uses, the powerful magnet is a bonus.

Purchased to me as a gift off my wish list. Great idea if it worked but unfortunately this item is either faulty or its total rubbish. Somehow this one drains its battery even when switched off. After every use I have to remove the battery otherwise its out of power in less than 2 days. A total pain & waste of time. Even if it did work I think its too expensive for what it is. Real Avid dropped the ball as the quality resembles that of the cheap little keyring torches you get in pound stores or seaside tack shops. In fact I think I'll be getting a handful of them instead. They'll do the job I need it for as I won't be chancing a replacement of this brand.

Easy to use and effective. Build quality a little disappointing considering the price, the switch especially, if carrying the light in a bag, it’s best to remove the battery as the switch can easily switch on accidentally, and you’ll have a drained battery.

Good bore light but does not use 3 x LR44 button cells. It uses 1 x AAA.
