BoschPMF 250 CES Multi-Functional Allrounder with Keyless Accessory Change includes 12 Accessories

Initial impressions quieter than the PMF 190 which broke after 30 mins use and which seems to be a common problem. The quick change feature is a bit tricky to work out how to use and the manual and videos I found weren't very helpful but if you press down on the orange handle nearest the on / off switch and turn anticlockwise with some force it will unclip and can be rotated. With the locking lever in the up position,you will need to exert a significant amount of pressure to rotate it anticlockwise to the unlock position on the first attempt but once done is gets progressively easier. Dont be afraid to "force" the handle round. Continuing to rotate the locking lever will eventually undo the lock pin which will drop out of the blade head - it goes back easily though - and to lock just reverse the procedure once the blade has been seated on the oscillating head - again some force will be needed to reseat the locking handle into the closed position.Once Iv'ed used this for a couple of jobs I will update this review regarding reliability. The PMF 190 was a great little device- shame about the reliability hopefully the extra money spent on this one will be worth it!

My husband had a bit of bother changing the tools and sent the first one back as he thought it was faulty. However when the replacement came we had the same problem. I suggested taking it into b& q and they showed us how it's done. There's a knack to it but once shown it's easy. I think the instructions could be a little better. Hubby is really pleased with it now & I have to say I can't fault amazon on the returns procedure.

The item was shipped earlier than first indicated (it was listed out of stock)I paid a little extra to get the extra accessories but most of them turned out to be the little sanding papers and not say the ceramic carbide cutter.(hence one star less)Used it once on wood (fitting in an extra lock on a front door) and it saved me ton of timejp

I have nothing but praise for this Bosch multi-tool, It does exactly what it says it would and makes short work of doing it! The build quality is great and already I have used it to cut through various thicknesses of wood and some metals (nails and screws mainly) My only quibble would be that the blades shed their paint on first use which can be a bit annoying if you are using it on fine painted wood, I think they would be better of leaving the various blades unfinished and ready to use, The slight criticism is not enough to drop a star though and I recommend this Bosch tool unreservedly.

Good for how many operations you can do with this one.not very strong,if you need just to do small things in your house should help you but just that.for main things go for something stronger!

good tool well made. I purchased for DIY use only t would not stand up to site use. If I had needed one for work I would have invested in a Makita or similar

nice tool. very accurate neat cuts. I would only use it with original Bosch blades though as I had a disappointing experience with cheaper imitations.

Very useful in so many DIY situations. Taken one star off because the sanding pad is not well constructed - loses its shape quite quickly.
