I was skeptical about this but it holds up my stick candle perfectly

Holds candles in place. Very safe to guarantee candles not falling out of candle sticks and starting fire.

Was really disappointed. Did not expect for the base to be almost like styrofoam that the candles just popped back out of the holder.

nope did not grip my candle.....well, for about 3 minute then candle fell over

These last few years it seems like the candle companies and the candle stick companies have been at war. I haven't found a candle stick that fit a candle properly in what seems like ages. This is a real problem solver. Before, i was heating the bottoms of the candle before putting them in, but then half the time you end up with scorch marks at the bottom. Very annoying. This solves that problem with ease. I didn't have a hard time pulling it out after the candle was done, either. These are great!

It doesn't hold candles as they said.

It may work for one specific kind of candle with one specific candle holder but it doesn't work for any of my candles and I have a wide variety. Buy the other solution.
