Shimano SPD Easy-Off pedalset (Design: Without Bolts for Multiple exit)

I have been biking in "house brand" cycling shoes from the bike store in the strip mall and was having huge trouble clipping into and out of my pedals, to the point where I took one or two falls because I couldn't clip out in time when stopping. Being hugely frustrated, I bought a new pair of bike shoes, not realizing until I arrived that the shoes did not come with cleats! So I bought these cleats, screwed them into my new bike shoes, and started biking. Oh my goodness! What a difference! While my new bike shoes are awesome, these cleats are no less awesome. They clip in and out of the pedals effortlessly, twisting to either the right or the left, but stay snug and firmly attached otherwise. I never knew what a huge difference an inexpensive pair of name brand cleats could make. Guess that's why Shimano is such a respected name in the biking market.

These work great for the pedals of my road bike. At first I thought they may be a little tough to connect to the pedal each time, but after a small learning curve, I figured out how to click them in quickly every time. They come out easily when you need to disconnect from the pedal but will not pop out on their own

I wish it came with those squared metal things since my Shimano SH-XC61 does not have that so I cannot screw the cleats directly into the sole of the shoe. Nice quality material, though.

These work great on my Cervelo R3. I know that this results in my using mountain bike shoes on a road bike, but that is the only way I can ride clipless due to my bunions. I'm still adjusting the tension tighter as I adapt to riding clipless, but I've had no issues clipping in or unclipping thus far.

Love these cleats! Easy to install into the shoes. Very little force or twisting is needed to get shoes into the clips. Easy in/easy out. Also great for my road bike; I have confidence that if I have to stop fast, I can clip out immediately without risk of falling. I have recommended these multi-release clips to everyone that I know that is an avid spinner.

Exactly what they say they are. For starting out in the clipless world, I recommend these over the single release as these are easier to unclip since there are more ways to do so; much more natural motion to unclip in a panic situation. However, if you're doing hardcore cycling or tough hills, these can unclip during vigorous pedaling due to the multirelease mechanism. Just about all shoes with cleat mounts will accept SPD cleats and most spin bikes at gyms have SPD pedals.

These release with a twist of the heel like regular cleats, but also if you pull your foot up and out at an angle, like you might in a panic situation. They don't release pulling straight up, so I don't think I'll have any problems with accidental release while climbing or anything. This just gives me a bit more confidence when the conditions are a bit sketchy that I won't get caught clipped in. Great if you're having trouble gaining confidence with clipless pedals, or if, like me, you like having cleats for commuting but value easy release in traffic situations. So far I still have single-release cleats on my "sporty" shoes, but I'm starting to think "why?"

Works very well, nice easy quick release in just about any direction. New to clipless shoes, was having trouble releasing the single direction SH51 cleats, decided to switch to these to help ease the transition.

Brilliant! Had bought some other cleats (allegedly exactly the same) but we could not get them to clip in on any bike.. so bought these instead & they are excellent, worked first time & clip in & out with ease 😄

Purfect if ya learning to ride locked into your peddals ...unhook easy ...so no more sudden emergency stops and still locked in,....so easy to unclip...had too many accidents on my other shimano cleats that I switched to these ones ....a joy to ride now

J'ai choisi spécifiquement ces cales car j'ai vu qu'elles avaient plusieurs axes de dégagement du pied. N'en n'ayant jamais utilisé en VTT auparavant c'est ce que je voulais pour ne pas me casser la figure bêtement. Je les ait donc préférées au SH 51 pourtant livrées avec mes pédales. Bon c'est Shimano, rien à dire pour la qualité c'est du solide! Les vis sont bien sûr fournies et elles sont montées en un rien de temps . Le dégagement et l'enclenchement sur une pédale Shimano sont excellents, difficile de tomber! A conseiller aux débutants pour ne pas les dégoûter des pédales automatiques.

He estado utilizando el juego de clavijas Shimano SPD SM-SH56 en mis pedales y debo decir que estoy muy satisfecho con su desempeño. Estas clavijas ofrecen un excelente equilibrio entre seguridad y libertad de movimiento al andar en bicicleta. Lo que más me gusta es la facilidad con la que puedo enganchar y desenganchar mis pies de los pedales. Esto es particularmente importante en situaciones de emergencia o cuando necesito rápidamente colocar un pie en el suelo. La durabilidad y resistencia de las clavijas también es evidente. Han resistido muy bien el desgaste incluso en condiciones de uso intensivo. El sistema de liberación múltiple es una característica muy útil, ya que me da la confianza de que puedo liberar mis pies de manera rápida y segura en diversas situaciones. En resumen, el juego de clavijas Shimano SPD SM-SH56 es una excelente elección para ciclistas que buscan un sistema de pedal versátil y confiable. Su facilidad de uso y durabilidad hacen que sea una inversión valiosa para mejorar la experiencia en bicicleta. Las recomiendo sin duda alguna.
