Ok, I gotta be honest: I piced up 'Headbangers Ball: the Revenge' only cause I'm huge Slipknot fan and I have to get every even tiny thing which has something to do with Knots. The same was with this CD.After I piced it up at....(let's not to mention the name of the store where I bought it:) I played it in my car standing in a huge traffic. The first track was obviously my fav band:D but than after listening to another one and another one I have to admit I was pleasent surprised. Listening to this stunning 38 track double CD I didn't even notice when I was almost home.For only £11.99 you can get all that is exciting in Heavy music today from the "big hitters" such as Slopknot, Korn, amazing Trivium, goth metal HIM, the hardcore of Throwdown, Bullet For My Valentine, Chimara, Mastodon, Opeth. There are also previously unreleased and brand new tracks from Killswitch Engage, 36 Crazyfists and exclusive to this compilation only tracks from Haterbreed and Kingdom of Sorrow.Great CD for a kick ass parties:D

Headbangers Ball: The Revenge is an ultimate collection of hits from 2005 and a few new tarcks just for this album! Two disks, 38 tracks and all for the price off one cd, cant ask for much better value!There some great tracks from Slipknot, Mudvayne, Trivium, As I Lay Dying and Lacuna Coil as well as a new track from Hatebreed and a live version of A Bid Farewell from Killswitch Engage from their new dvd. Theres also a crushing Now Youve Got Something To Die For from Lamb Of God.Then theres the other disk with Chimaira, Arch Enemy, Opeth, Devildriver, Still Remains and Burn from Throwdown's album Vendetta and another new track from 'Super Group' Kingdom Of Sorrow which features Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed, Kirk Windstein of Crowbar and Down and Derek Kerswill of Seamless.All in all a perfect album of tracks from 2005. Handy if you want your favourite tracks all in one place, or if your looking for an introduction into modern metal!10/10 and a must have!

This compilation is full of sheer genious! Chimairas track-Nothing Remains is a brilliant piece of raw metal and brutalness. This album deserves more than five stars! The Worst is Yet To Come by Still Remains is yet another piece of brilliance with amazing guitar riffs and outstanding vocals, you hear this song and you just want to jump into a moshpit and rock out to it. However my favourite track from this album is Kill To Believe by Bleeding Through. This is on their latest album the Truth and is full of agression with brutal lyrics that tear at your heart and penetrate your soul, it lets you know what more metal acts should be like. On the next Headbangers ball lets hope for some 3 Inches Of Blood, eh? this album is sheer brilliance and i would recommend it to anyone.

MTV2's "Headbangers Ball" has helped keep metal in front of the masses. Even though their playlist isn't as diverse as some would like, it still gives metal bands a great venue for their videos. And they've outdone themselves on their latest compilation. There are some really big name artists and most of the genres of metal are represented. The songs are from 2004 through 2006 and are mostly album cuts. There are also a couple live songs and an unreleased track or two.The artists on the compilation are a virtual who's who of metal, and they include Slipknot, Korn, Iron Maiden, Mudvayne, Avenged Sevenfold, HIM, Trivium, Lamb Of God, Disturbed, Lacuna Coil, Mastodon, Killswitch Engage, In Flames, Bullet For My Valentine, Arch Enemy, Opeth, God Forbid and many more.

This album is fantastic!!There are so many different and amazing tracks on this album!I bought this album because of the band Mastodon, whom i am a huge fan of! but from there i got a hole load of new favourite bands, including 36 crazyfists, opeth, and the most suprizing of all Trivium!!!I was surprised at how much i liked some of the tracks on here!This album is for any metal head that wants to get an AMAZING selection of metal music!To listen to i recommend the tracks by Trivium, 36 Crazyfists, Mastodon, Opeth, Slipknot, Soulfly!Dont be put off because there is one track/band you dont like! I can promise you that there will be at least 10 more tracks that you will love!!!!

in my opinon this is one of the besy compilation cd's i have seen in quite some time most compilation cd's we see around have just lots of well known artist's latest singles on but this has a varied amount of well known artist's such as HIM, Bullet For My Valentine, Arch Enemy and many more to such lesser known artist's as Norma jean, 10 Years, High On Fire and more so not only is this brand new Headbangers Ball compilation cd for fans of the big named band around at the moment but it is also an opotunity to discover some lesser known bands so this really is a great purchase.

I bought this CD after hearing about it from a friend who is very much into Metal and the heavier rock music. Normally I go for normal Rock but thought this was worth a try! boy was I right! This has some amazing tracks from bands such as : In Flames, Trivium, Still Remains, God Forbid, Chimaira, As I Lay Dying, Hatebreed, Kron and Avenged Sevenfold.This CD also has some tracks on by bands I have never heard of before, but have now gone on to buy their own albums. A great metal CD with such a good variety of songs. Well worth buying! Im glad I did.

Well I was a bit sceptical at first when I got this album, but from the moment I put it in my Cd player and heard the first track I was impressed. There are some seriously great bands on this album to look into, such as Opeth, A Life Once Lost, Arch Enemy, In Flames, As I Lay Dying and MAstodon... As well as a few I hadn't heard of before but Like now... Anyone who likes metal and wants a decent variety of stuff to listen to should buy this album, it's good value and you might just find your new favourite band on here!
