I love the look and size of this printer + easy to install
Arrived 2 days early. Set up was easy -began with USB cable and then followed directions in manual and on screen and on line to switch to wireless. All three sources may not be necessary for everyone, but I used them all.Clean compact-ish size (in between larger HP 8600 and the very compact HP 150)The cartridges were easy to install; once I found & accessed the lower level to install them.Everything I needed was included: manual, power supply and USB cable. Oh and cord for phone which I'm not using at the moment.Just received and began using this evening. Maybe not the "crispest" look to the text but very adequate and great for the price (my last printer was several hundred dollars more, and I notice the difference, but still very happy with the output of 4650).note:*the cost of the 4 year warranty seemed reasonable and I purchased it. Really like to have tech support option. I was contacted immediatly by email with the information I would need to contact them.*the ink plan looked like it could save time and money but it was a more simple option for me not to choose it.Good luck and stay well!!!!

Total nightmare to set up wireless with wifi hotspot but.....
after 6 hours of my company's head IT person trying to get it set up wireless with my wifi hotspot and 2.5 more hours of HP tech support trying to set it up wireless and get it to print like it's supposed to - their own directions didn't work either so she had to pretty much wing it, it's finally up and running and works really well. My favorite thing is you don't have to manually switch paper around for 2-sided printing, it does it automatically. Two things I don't like (1) You have to sign up for Instant Ink or you get charged $20/pop for tech support. I got the first 3 free months free, but I'm cancelling it after 2 because I don't want to be charged $4.99/mo for 100 sheets printing - they used half that amount today just setting it up so glad it's a free trial, (2) You only put in enough paper for the document you're printing, which is a pain, I'd rather just leave however much paper in it. Otherwise I'm happy with it.

Over all it’s great. Has small issues but it’s well worth it. Great deal.
So far I really like it. I didn’t have to set it up through the website it gave. Although when I went to the website it said it wasn’t real. But the USB port worked out fine. I just needed it for simple printing for labels etc. and it works really well I was even able to print a well detailed photo! I like this printer. I have not messed with it too much. But so far so good! The ink came brand new. Came with a power cord. USB to connect to the computer. Booklet to help you set up. Even though it has a step by step process. I have not connected it to my phone or WiFi though. I prefer to use the USB port honestly. But that’s just me. It’s easy to use and scan papers. Printing time is fairly quick. It’s not shooting out a lot of papers per minute but you can’t beat it for the price. Overall so far I like it. Just remember as with all printers. Every five yourself you need to replace the guts of the printer. Great for is price. So far so good for me!

Great printer
This is a great little printer. I bought it to do some prints of art, and it works well. It's slow to print high quality, but that's ok with me. I did have to re-align it and clean the cartridges a bunch of times when I first got it in to fix the alignment (it was a little blurry at first), but that was probably due to the shipping. After I think sven times it was perfect. When I re-installed a new cartridge, I had to do it again, but only twice. Good printer and happy with the purchase, especially for the price. Thanks! No need to sign up for the auto-order ink thing. I think it's a waste of money.

Could not be more pleased!
The printer came yesterday and it was much bigger and heavier than I anticipated. I am an 81 year old granny. I did manage to get it inside and unpacked. It was packed extremely well. Just like a brand new one. Everything was in the box that was supposed to be. I knew there would be no USB cord, but I had one already. I plugged it up and turned it on. Then I was instructed to insert the ink cartridges. Well I would if I could find a place to insert them. The only negative thing I have to say is that there really should have been a user guide enclosed!! I went online to You Tube and learned about the ink, paper and setup. I had a little trouble connecting to my WiFi but was able to. I installed it on both my computers and by some miracle, I am able to print from my iphone. I have set up dozens of printers in my lifetime but this one was different. The CD door on my computer will not open and I was worried about that, but should not have been. It was no problem to set up online. So far, I am loving this printer and will certainly check back if this shouls change!

In a Fix and HP has a problem, I think.
I work at home and need a printer and fax everyday. Five years ago I lost my beautiful 6800. I had this wide format beauty for over 10 years and truth be told it was kind of messy inside. When it broke, though, something literally broke and I saw it. Enter the 7612 all-in-one, $150 here on Amazon. On Saturday she died, five years of use, sudden error message, missing or defective printhead. Tried all the HP solutions, which were the same for this 4650 model. Printer was pristine too. Very clean, no leaks, nada. Looked in forum on HP and other places and lo and behold lots of other folks had this same issue, out of the blue, HP solution of unplugging and reset didn't work, nothing worked. Same time frame of ownership, four to five years. Enter this 4650. I read all the five-star reviews and I was thrilled I could get it by Monday, and I did. Well, it is Tuesday. I had printed out five pages, very nice quality, faxed right, set on wireless. HP did an update today, Tuesday, January 14th. I got to innocently print a page and suddenly I get Service Station Stalled. And it makes a pretty bad noise. Called Amazon, said I would have to deal with MRP Sales. I did send them a note for return and refund, but then I found the Amazon option. Dropping this baby off at my nearby Khol's for return and getting the refund. I need a printer now and not sure what to do. So HP's solution for all these errors message is unplugging, wait 60 seconds and re-plug. And I guess hope it works. Out of 14 messages on HP's solutions board this only worked for one person -- and who knows if it lasted.

This was a refurb and you would never know it, looks and works like new!
The unit came with ink cartridges installed which were empty which was a little annoying - other than that I’m perfectly happy with it, haven’t tried to print photos yet. I have used the scanner and printed documents.

Does not work!
Printer doesn’t work with guest wifi, nor hotspots nor USB cable!
