I’m using these bins to organize my clothing in the closet I share with my husband. It has wire shelving, but the top shelf is high. When I try to take something down from a stack, the pile often tumbles. The bins can be pulled down and then replaced with the contents intact.Each bin has a plastic window that helps to identify what it contains. A surprising volume of clothing fits in each 12 x 16” bin. Rolling things like jeans, yoga pants, and t-shirts allows them to be stacked vertically and hold a bit more. Spacing the bins 10-12” apart on the shelf leaves me with a space to put a couple of sweaters or fleeces.Another approach I may try, is using them to plan and store an outfit and keep it at the ready for those mornings when I’m running late. The bin is large enough to hold jeans, a t-shirt and a sweater, while leaving room for socks, underwear and a bra. No more hunting for matching socks at the last minute!Clothing is just one example of what can be stored in each bin. Toys, books, stuffed animals and craft supplies can be rounded up to keep a kid’s room neat. In a pantry, the bins could be used for cereal, pasta, snack foods and baking supplies. Really, anything that needs sorting and fits the bin.When not in use, the bins can be collapsed by pulling up the bottom and collapsing in the sides making them about 1” thick. The color of the bins is beige, and they look good enough to leave visible.

These are a great organization tool. I use them for my sheets and bedding. They fit well in my closet and help keep me organized.
