Headphones Head Strap Compatible with Meta Quest 3 Accessories, Comfort On-Ear Audio Elite Strap Replacement for Enhanced Sound Effects and Increased Immersion in VR | Head Strap Included

When I pre ordered the Quest 3 I knew I wasn't going to like the OEM head strap. I didn't with the Rift, Quest, or Quest 2. I was initially worried about sound quality, since my main reason was to use this for games like Beat Saber where I want good sound but I don't want extra stuff on my head like adding a pair of headphones. This strap feels better than I was expecting. It helps so much to lift the weight of the headset up to more on your forehead. The speakers can be rotated quite a bit to get a good fit for your ears. The adjustment knob on the back is fine, does what it should. This is only my opinion after a couple hours of use, but since the Q3 launched today I'm hoping my review might help others who may be on the fence.

Update, read original review at bottom.Like many others, after 5 or 6 months of occasional use, one of the speakers completely detached and made the headset useless. This seems to be a common weak point and so I can't recommend this strap at all.Original review:If you owned a quest 2 and did any research, you surely discovered that that pro head strap made.for the HTC Vibe was known as one of the most comfortable straps for a VR headset. That's why adapters were readily available on Amazon to use the gear with the Quest and it would allow me to play for hours with little.to no discomfort. This head strap is very similar I. It's form, function and comfort. The only major difference, and my small complaint, the audio earphones are spring loaded and push against your ears at all times. I wish you could flip them out or adjust the tension a bit like the Vibe head strap does. I'm sure adapter will eventually be available to use the Vibe strap with Quest 3, but that set up is still probably double the cost of this one. Not sure that will be worth it for most people.

I really want to like this strap! It's pretty comfortable, and I really want a strap with built-in headphones for my Quest 3. This seemed perfect, except that the headphones don't quite work. When I plug them in, I get good sound out of the right ear and very low volume out of the left. Only when I unplug it the tiniest bit do I get good sound out of the left ear. but then nothing out of the right ear. Only if I balance the plug just in the middle of "plugged all the way in" and "unplugged by a hair" just right, do I get good sound out of both sides. I have checked the headphone jack on my headset with multiple other headphones and do not have this problem, so I know it's the strap. Maybe mine is just defective...I don't know. I'll keep fiddling with it, but chances are I'll be returning it.

This headset has its merits. The headphones are comfy and conveniently fold away when putting on or taking off the headset. However, I must admit the sound didn't quite live up to my expectations; it came off too muffled for me. Perhaps the emphasis on padding for comfort compromised the sound quality.Considering the Quest 3's appetite for power with its robust features, it would be a game-changer if the accessory's manufacturer could incorporate a longer-lasting battery at the back. This would not only balance the front weight of the headset but also provide the freedom to indulge in extended gaming sessions. Unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. My apologies!

It snapped on quickly to my Oculus 3 head and is very comfortable. Love the speakers and fit.

The strap is comfortable and easy to install but the headphones don't work. I saw some others who got them to work by cutting off some rubber at the base of the headphone jack, which I tried, but that didn't work for me. I can hear that pop sound through the headphones when connecting the jack, but otherwise there is now sound. Seems there isn't good alignment/contact between the jack and the internals of the quest 3.

I knew about the muffled sound per previous comments, that was not my concern. Although muffled is true, it is fine for my standards. I am not playing FPS games or listening to music where I need to hear the greatest detail. However, this is the second replacement where the left side just simply does not work. You can get it to work if you play with the audio jack. I think all the problems are an improper audio plug. As far as comfort I love them. I would get one of these again if the audio problems are fixed. If QWOS wants a positive review from me I would need a replacement for very cheap with the audio issues fixed.

This headstrap is very comfortable. The original elastic strap on the quest 3 is such a bad design. If you are having headaches or strap cutting into your ears, get this or another headstrap that is designed like this.The earphones have a design flaw. With the earphone sitting directly over my ear, the sound is muffled and distorted (trust me it's really bad). If I lift the earphone way from my ear the sound increases and sounds normal. Whatever they are using to protect the driver isn't enough and when directly on your ear it must be interfering with the driver. The only way to use the earphones is to offset them from your ear or wedge something into the hinge to keep them away from your ears.
