Awesome!
Love this bulb! The wattage and color are perfect! Not too bright which allows you tomorrow see the skull perfectly. Plan to purchase the flamingo for next summer. My only wish is that there were more designs to choose from because I would purchase even more.

Not bright, but definitely a fun addition to the game room
I didn’t get this expecting it would give out a ton of light, and it doesn’t. It is an accent piece and I have it installed in a hanging fixture I built specifically to hold this bulb. It hangs in a corner of the game room and is just a really cute, glowing spot of cheer that brings a smile to everyone’s face. It reminds me of Florida and enhances the party spirit when Margaritaville comes up on the playlist. The detail on this bulb is really good. I was surprised that it really does look like a flamingo and not some weird bird-like blob inside this globe. Not much else to say about a light bulb, even one this unique and fun. It’s cute, it’s pink, it lights up and it makes me smile when I turn it on. I’ve had it installed for about a month and turn it on at least every couple of days. It lights up immediately when I turn on the fixture and I haven’t perceived any degradation in the amount or quality of “glow”.Find a spot for this and get one. You can’t help but smile.

Brilliant Skull [FOUR STARS]
In the 1930’s, the Aerolux Light Corporation began production of a series of artful gas-discharge lighting products. Essentially these were “light bulbs,” complete with screw-in lamp base which, instead of containing the usual incandescent filament, were instead fitted with stamped metal electrodes. The bulb was filled with a specific mixture of neon and other gasses at reduced pressure. When the bulb was switched on, the metal electrodes would glow.In one bulb, the electrodes might be stamped into the shape of a rose, in another, a cat, a crucifix, tulips, company logos, cartoon characters, (or just about anything else that someone might find interesting), glowing inside of a glass bulb. In some cases the metal electrodes were treated with fluorescent materials which emitted different colors. These bulbs (to the extent they have survived the passage of time) often command three-figure price tags, and even reproductions can be very expensive. The curiously-named “CybaaLuxzus” store now offers offers a modern take on the classic Aerolux bulb. These CybaaLuxzus bulbs, featuring a variety of internal artwork including a skull, flamingo, rainbow, rose, hearts, treble-clef, and others, differs from the Aerolux in that tiny LEDs, buried in a plastic matrix, form the light-emitting elements in the bulb. Like the Aerolux, these bulbs screw into a standard lamp socket and run from nominally-120 VAC line current.I ordered the skull variant. The artwork sits precariously atop two wire electrodes, which suspend it in the center of a glass bulb, roughly 4-inches in diameter. The mass of the artwork on the end of two thin supports allows it respond to external forces with a pronounced wobble. Given relative violence of all modern shipping/handling, I’m surprised this arrived intact. Some part of its survival can be attributed to careful packaging of the product. When electrified, the skull glows blue. “Glow,” is probably an understatement—it is almost painfully bright to look at. The vendor describes this as “soothing” light, I disagree. It’s interesting, it’s impressive, it’s novel, and it’s fun. But compared to vintage Aerolux bulbs, which were indeed “soothing” to stare into while lit, the light from this particular bulb strikes me as more of the “retina-searing” type. That said, it’s possible that other colors/designs in this product family might better fit the “soothing” category. I did not try to run this bulb on a dimmer; perhaps that’s another option.Note that there are two orientations for the the artwork, depending upon the particular design you choose. In some cases, the “down” side of the graphic/image is coincident with the screw base. That kind of bulb will work best in a table-top lamp. Others, like the skull, are oriented with the TOP of the skull coincident with the screw base. That product requires the use of a hanging socket/fixture.In summary, the item is as described, it’s a neat product, and a nice decoration for Halloween time... or a year-round accent piece for you Goth-types. I’d have preferred more subdued lighting (particularly when the color is blue), but your tastes may differ. I can easily give this a solid four or four-and-a-half stars.

Very nice light - stays cool to the touch
Just a fun thing that we got for the room. It goes well with Atom Boy. Makes for a nice nightlight when we are watching movies or just chilling. This light can be hung or put in a holder for different situations. Would be a good one for retail store or window dressing. As it says in the headline, it stays cool to the touch and does not heat up. So could be put in kids room possibly.

Novelty Skull bulb
This is a light bulb with a floppy novelty-shaped filament. Of the arrangements, I opted for the skull bulb, which requires hanging from a downward-pointing socket. The bulb is also nearly the size of a softball, so you can write off using it in conjunction with most fixtures. The skull looks great lit up, though, just super cool. I don't understand the technology but it's fabulous! It's small, yes, but big enough you could use it on your porch or whatever and it would be a fun decoration. The flip side of it being a brilliant blue novelty to look at, of course, it that it emits some brilliant blue light, basically like a UV flashlight (presumably without the UV rays). I would be careful to use this in a well-lit room or outside or similar where the blue light won't dominate and strain your eyes, accordingly. But, very fun decoration, recommended!

Nostalgic and Novel
This decorative light bulb is such a cool and unexpected piece of accent lighting! I decided to pop it into a vintage steampunk lamp I thrifted, and it worked absolute magic bringing the whole piece to life.Right away, the bulb just has this wonderfully nostalgic, anachronistic look to it. The swirled filaments and antique-ish glass give off all the industrial Edison vibes in the best way possible. It's equal parts functional and artistic statement piece.Of course, because of the decorative exposed filament design, this isn't meant to be a utility bulb floodlighting an entire room or anything. It's absolutely made to provide more of a warm, focused pool of ambient illumination - novelly stylish accent lighting at its core.Used in the right desktop lamp, wall sconce, or creative repurposed fixture, this bulb is an absolute showstopper. The exposed inner glow combined with the sculptural vintage aesthetic is just plain eye-catching from any angle. I may honestly need to spring for a few more styles if they carry different designs!

Fun Text Bulb
I like the uniqueness of this bulb, the size, fit and the fun text. I do not like that I am limited to where I can use the bulb. As seen in the photo its did not illuminate well and the text is upside down in my standard floor lamp. I am not able to use the lamp shade because that would cover the text. I was able to find a hallway where I removed the globe to display and read the bulb upright. The uniqueness and text makes this bulb a conversation piece in our home.
