Review update of original 1 Star review to a 5 Star review....I returned my first purchase as defective. Upon receipt of the replacement I thought it was also defective because it would not charge. So I read the very brief instruction booklet and discovered that this required being plugged into a USB wall converter in the outlet. So nothing at all wrong with it. Based on the mirror itself, it is excellent. My wife loves it. Large mirror area and the ability to rotate between portrait and landscape is great. She also loves the ability to use it without being plugged in, by inserting 4 AA batteries (especially when traveling). The only negative is that the vertical post, after being snapped into the base, can't be separated later for packing flat into a suitcase. That capability would have been an excellent option. Also love the variable lighting options.******************************************My Original "Dumb" 1 Star Review Below**********************I was excited to order this after a previous corded version died after several years. I researched many brands and options before selecting this one. Unfortunately it does not light up unless it is plugged in, or with 4 AA batteries in it. I charged it overnight so it should have had a full charge. I removed the charger plug and tried to turn it on. Nothing. Next I installed 4 AA batteries and it instantly lit up. So it obviously has a dead rechargeable battery in it. Returning for a replacement.

It’s a lovely and functional mirror. I’ve enjoyed having it for my morning makeup routine. After a year and four months the light no longer operates. I changed the batteries several times from purchase in Oct 2022 until the light no longer functions in Jan 2024. I’d like to have had longer use time, but at this price point I’m overall ok with the lifespan. If this is a typical lifespan for a makeup mirror, I’ll stick with this price range as I would not want to put more money into a lighted mirror that I’ll likely need to replace in less than 18 months.

I love this mirror. I was thrilled that it was sleek, lightweight, and a great cost. Super disappointed though in that the first light is super dim now, and it started fading about 3-4 months in. I'm still using it since the other two lights are still working, but doubtful that this will last even one year. The small magnifying mirror is nice to have but it never suctioned to the mirror so I just held it.In all, really hoping the product improves because I would love to replace mine.Update 12/11: While some of the lights randomly will dim over time, I uncovered a fix for this. On accident, when I actually was in the process of replacing it. We lost power at home and I uncovered I couldn't turn it on at all once power restored. I unplugged it, then plugged it back in, pushed the button on back to turn on and not only did it work ALL OF THE LIGHTS WERE BRIGHT AGAIN. This happened in August. I opted to keep using it since it was as good as new. Well, I was again finding that the first light was dimming again, so once again I unplugged it, plugged it back in, and hit the power button. Back to bright! So if you're willing to do a little reset every once in awhile, this is a great mirror.

I was looking for a magnifying mirror. I'm not 35 anymore :) , so I needed more than the small magnifying mirror provided. For teens or younger adults with better eyes than mine this would probably work great. Sadly had to return it for a mirror with a higher magnification.

I think I’m really going to like this mirror, although it’s a little too short for my liking. I took a photo of it next to my old mirror and decided I needed something to make it a little higher. Bonus that the makeup organizer I bought adds more space for small cosmetic items.I like that it has three light settings like my old mirror, and it also has the added bonus of being able to dim the lights or brighten them. I like that it’s easily to turn on (the knob on my old mirror were starting to hurt my hands) and it turns off in 30 minutes automatically if you forget.These lights are LED so they should last a long time. My other mirror burns out often and they aren’t the easiest to replace. And it looks like it would be a breeze to pack for travel.Only thing I’m going to miss about my old mirror is flipping it to get a large 10x magnification. The small one that comes with the fancii mirror doesn’t help when it’s sunctioned to the mirror. I can only see one eyeball! Not sure I’ll get much use out of that feature; remains to be seen.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this mirror. Everything I’ve purchased from this company has exceeded my expectations and this mirror is no exception. I own two of their facial brushes so I was super excited to see that they also sell several different makeup mirrors. I chose this one because it has 3 different light settings and each one replicates a different environment. There’s daylight light, neutral white light, and warm light. Each light setting is super bright - so much brighter than the previous lighted mirror I owned. It also has a small 10x mirror which suctions onto the main mirror. It can be popped off easily which will be perfect for travel.Speaking of — I can’t wait to use this mirror on my next vacation! The base comes off easily and will fit well in my suitcase. Hotel lighting is the worst!If you’re looking for a mirror that will illuminate your entire face, allow you to see better and apply your makeup better — this one is for you! For the price and quality of this mirror, you really can’t go wrong.

I was very happy when I first received this item. I used it for about 6 weeks. I put in new batteries and it was working fine. It stopped working. I tried charging it. It showed it was charging with a green light. While charging the lights work. When I take the charger off, it doesn't work. I tried new batteries and everything. It only works when I have the charger on. I bought this less than 3 months ago. I can't seem to return it for a replacement.
