Doesn't really change color, but moisturizes well
At first glance this looks like a set with a lot of potential. You get six - pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple - a whole rainbow of colors - right? Not really. I did a swatch on my skin to see which one I wanted to start with and much to my disappointment, all six colors show up in very similar shades of pink/purple. Where I swatched my skin, it is still discolored even after washing my hands several times. The color on my lips did fade over the day while I ate and drank, but it's still there at the end of the day. I guess the magic of "color change" is that it looks cool until you put it on - then it's just a pink lip stain. My kid put one on and has red lips, the one I put on was a lighter pink. Even after going outside to do barn chores in the snow and returning back into the warm house, it remained the same shade of pink. If this is meant to change color from pink to red, it failed in my experience. The redeeming part is that this is very good at moisturizing. My lips were just starting to crack this morning when I applied this, and this evening, my lips are already mostly healed. It may not work for color change, and it doesn't have the cool bold colors it looks like they should given the lipstick colors before application, but they moisturize very well. At just over $1 each for the set of six (currently $6.99 as of this review), it's a decent price for a moisturizing lip product.

90's vibes "color change" lipstick
These are excellent for party goody bags! The 6 pack with bright crayon colors are fun, and when applied the lipsticks turn to varying shades of pink/light purple. This would make a fun gift, I got them for my daughter and she loves wearing them. I highly recommend.

Fun novelty item, could use for everyday wear, nice colors!
These are fun throwback items from the 90s that will take you back to childhood. While they are rainbow colors in the tube, they go on in shades of pink, pink-orange, and slightly fuchsia. I used a similar product back in the 90s when they came back into vogue. The novelty is that they change colors with your body heat. While these don't have a drastic change with body heat like the old ones from the 90s, they do get darker when they get warmer. These didn't seem to bleed or feather on my lips. The aloe base was evident as my lips didn't dry out. I wouldn't say they were moisturizing like a lip lotion or lip balm, but they didn't dry my lips like normal lipsticks. They were fairly water-resistant and required soap/make-up remover and water to fully remove. They did rub off during eating and required reapplication afterward. I marked them down 1 star for the lack of all-day wear. These would be a fun novelty gift for throwback parties, a fun "starter" lipstick for little girls, or just for fun, easy, everyday wear. These are a great value for the price per set! I would purchase them in the future for parties as fun favors! My photos show the colors on my skin after about 5 minutes in the order displayed. The second image shows the lipsticks on my lips. Blue is on the left side and purple is on the right.

Fun novelty lip balm
The Make-Up Artist Project Retro 90s Rainbow Mood Changing Aloe Lipstick 6 Pack. I would consider these to be more of a lip balm/chapstick than a lipstick. The bright green plastic tubes feel cheap, but are bright and colorful. The overall rainbow of colors is pretty, but they all show up as shades of pink on me. The pink deepens a bit after a few minutes. My lips did not feel dried out or irritated from this product. As a novelty product these are fun and would make great stocking stuffers for the upcoming holidays.

Moisturizing lipstick
It's a pretty decently moisturizing lipstick and the colors are fun. The pink and purple work the best. The other colors are more or less for astetic appeal and don't add any tint to the lips at all.

Very nice, color changing lipsticks, that are moisturizing!
This set of 'The Makeup Artist Project' retro 90s rainbow, mood changing lipsticks are super cute and make my lips feel soft. They are brightly colored, in a rad green tube, and even though there are 6 different bright colors, they are all mood changing, and look awesome on my lips. They go on smoothly, and moisturizes my lips, which I love. And soon after, the color changes into a shade of pink. I love these lipsticks. They're a fun lipstick, reminds me of some Makeup I had when I was younger, definitely giving a retro look in the tube and lip colors. I love that these are so soft on my lips, and turn into a pretty shade of pink that lasts a while. These would be a fun gift to someone else as well. The cost of this 6 pack is affordable, and I think that it's a great product. Love these! 🌈 💄 😊

fun to use
This set is worth the 7$ to use for fun. They have a strong waxy smell but go on smoothly. They are for everyday use for me, but they are fun to use.

moisturizing
I am so happy that these "mood" lipsticks are back! I used to have one a long time ago, when I was in middle school and I always searched for it after Avon/Mark stopped selling it. They basically work off your Ph and it will look slightly different on everyone. On me, it is the perfect natural pink. These are super moisturizing and the packaging is cheap feeling, but it works as I expect it to. Currently I'm using the yellow, but no matter the color you pick, it will end up pink on your lips. The only thing I dislike is the perfume taste.
