Good monograph on statistical downscaling
This is a good monograph on statistical downscaling. Its origin as lecture notes to a short-course on the subject is fairly evident, as it doesn't quite come together like a really stellar textbook. The references focus on European research, which isn't a drawback as such, but it does mean that some important research from North America and Asia is not mentioned. Minor typographical and grammatical errors are present, but these don't generally detract from the flow too much. The inclusion of R code snippets to demonstrate the concepts is a nice touch.
