Perfect little chainsaw
This little chainsaw is awesome - I think I'm in love!1. It's ready to go straight out of the box. The two batteries were charged and i could turn it on and begin using it within seconds of opening the box.2. It cuts neatly, quickly, and easily through small branches (4-8cm). I've also cut some bigger branches / roots of about 12cm but this needs to be done more strategically, but cutting out wedges.3. Not at all heavy, so easy to lift up to shoulder height or above. I wouldn't chop above my head though - safety first! ;-)4. Intuitive design; pull the trigger to make it go, and let go to make it stop, which it does quickly (good for safety).5. I love that it comes with safety goggles and gloves, because honestly any time I use a power tool I have to faff around trying to remember where my (rubbish) safety glasses are, or I end up using sunglasses and rubber gloves. They fitted me (woman) well but I'm not sure they'd fit a man, as they're quite tight.6. Comes with sturdy carry case, so easy to put away and keep neat and tidy.7. Love that it comes with spare battery and spare chain, because these are honestly the biggest bugbears with a chainsaw.UPDATE:Having used this over a number of hours (the chainsaw running for perhaps 30-40 minutes total?) I was finding that the chain tension keeps coming loose and I was having to tighten it literally every 15 seconds - annoying. To solve this, I've put a screw into the hole (pictured) to keep the chain tight, snd this seems to be doing the job. It's a great little chainsaw and I'm getting through an old tree stump really easily.

It does what it says on the box
I like the quality and size of this mini chainsaw, which comes in a compact and durable carry-box with its components. The battery life is surprisingly good and a spare too. It light and easy to use, cutting smoothly through small branches and thick shrubs, ideal for heavy pruning and small logs etc. Glad I bought this welcome addition to my garden tool collection, as it saves so much time and effort. Good value.

Top quality and great value, with a small 'but'...
This Handywise chainsaw works great - the battery life is excellent and I can cut a lot of firewood with two batteries. Comes with decent gloves - they wouldn't stop me losing a finger if I was careless with the saw but are great for carrying wood and not getting splinters. Safety glasses are decent and there's a spare chain which is good as chain life with the stock chains isn't too long - the first chain lost it's sharpness after maybe six full batteries-worth of logs. With consistent use - log after log - the unit will warm up to the point where the thermal protection kicks in and it shuts down for a few minutes. While this isn't a big deal now in winter I could see it getting tedious in summer heat. Here's the 'but' - after half a dozen uses, just enough to wear out one chain and move to the second, the chainsaw failed. It seemed as if the batteries weren't charging as the chainsaw light still came on and the chain turned slightly. But what are the chances of two batteries failing at the same time? Probably quite slim. The unit was still within the return window so I sent it back and got a second one. I added the 3 year insurance as an additional 'just in case'.Overall a great budget chainsaw, but the jury is still out on its longevity.

Does the job!
This is a great little saw, and surprisingly powerful considering its size. I would recommend using two hands with a firm grip if you haven't used this type of tool before. It is light and very easy to use. I take the housing apart and clean it every time it's used, plus a drop of oil (supplied) , on the chain itself. The accessories are excellent, and a spare battery too. The batteries arrived fully charged, so you're ready to go on receipt. The little case that keeps everything together is also useful. I would highly recommend this terrific little saw, but be aware, just because it's small, it's not a plaything!

Excellent tool making easy work of heavy pruning
This came straight out of the box with both batteries charged ready for use, which was a bonus. I purchased this to keep on top of some fast growing conifers and it made light work of both thinning out and controlling the height of the conifers easily cutting through 2 and 3 inch branches. Very portable and much easier to use than a pruning saw which required more access to cut through.

Amazing gadget
I bought this expecting to be disappointed however it’s an amazing bit of kit. I tackled a tricky out of control hedge, overrun with mature Ivy trees, wild cob nut and rogue tree saplings. It managed all of it with ease, including a tree sapling a good 15 cm thick. I couldn’t believe how well it did. It’s definitely worth the money - saved me hours of hand sawing and cropping.

A powerful little hand held saw.
I bought this to cut off some medium sized branches from a laurel tree. It has saved me a lot of money in that I was going to get a professional to do it but managed the branch lopping myself. The saw is quite powerful and needs careful handling. Sometimes the chain blade can jam, especially on smaller branches, but this can be minimised by chain tightening which I looked online to find out how to do. It also has a tendency to kick from time to time. In my experience it cuts best on branches between 40-100mm but it will do smaller and larger. It comes with two batteries, charger, another chain, fitted case, glasses and gloves (although I’m not sure how protective the gloves would be!) 4 stars because of gloves, difficulty in fitting everything in the case after use and the need to adjust the blade every now and again. Great for the money though.
