Dashboard Confessional ~ So Impossible Ep

Chris at his best
If like me, you are one of the legions of Dashboard confessional fans, you MUST own this EP. Like usual, Chris's lyrics are mesmerising and you feel completely involved in the music as its simply situations we've all been through. My personal favourite song on the ep is "so impossible", sheerly due to the fact you feel so warm inside after listening to it. "Remember to breathe" is another beautiful song that leaves you completely spellbound throughout. I agree with other reviewers when they say that "hands down" has possibly one of the best choruses ever. A brilliantly involving cd that pretty much sums up life, and after your done you'll wonder what you ever did without it. Give it a shot, you won't regret it!

Dashboard Confessional - So Impossible *****
Fantastic. If it was not for the great albums already owned by myself, I would say this EP is the greatest thing ever to grace my C.D. player. This is the other side of DC, not the down to side to life and love but the times when you feel warm and happy about the special someone. It's a story from track 1 to track 4 and grows with every chord, and every word uttered. It also features Dan Hoerner who used to be in the band "sunny day real estate". This album is a small collection of the other side of DC, instead of the more familiar feelings and emotions Chris gives us a taste of what life is like to fall in love and to be with someone who you feel comfortable with and miss being around. Well done Chris and dc for making me believe in love again. And for yet another classic 5 of out 5 work of art.

Story of a relationship
This is really the best thing that Chris has done so far in my opinion. Individually, the four tracks are all very thoughtful and drenched in the typical Dashboard emotion. However, this is a concept album and it's full impact is only realised when all four tracks are listened to in order. It charts the evolution of a relationship, from unrequited longing ("For You To Notice"), through the tricking asking out process ("So Impossible"), to the nervous preparation for a date ("Remember to Breathe") to the date itself ("Hands Down").The So Impossible EP is all about potential, and the coming to fruition of dreams. Those who have found love will relate to it, especially "Hands Down" and those with broken hearts will have their hope restored... this is an essential purchase for anyone who considers themselves even slightly thoughtful or romantic.

::: well worth the money :::
i know it's only a four track EP, but you NEED this if you like anything about Dashboard Confessional! The first two tracks are superb - keeping up the traditions of Swiss Army Romance with the excellent quality we hear on the Places... album. But it is "Remember to Breathe" which really hits you between the eyes: a magnificent, heart-felt piece which doesn't fail in stirring something inside.Buy this.

fantastic
For anyone that likes Dashboard Confessional, they should by this for the final song, "Hands Down". It has the best chorus I've heard for a long time. The other songs on the cd have the typical Chris Carrabba punk delivery but with raw emotion that can't help but draw you in. It may not be worth the money (hence the 4 stars)...
