My hugely excited daughter opened the box for her birthday to find the main shark, the fishing rods and a screw driver ... but absolutely NO FISH! The disappointment was horrible; for all of us.

The media could not be loaded. Got this Magnetic Fishing Game for my little one's birthday - decent fun but, honestly, it feels a bit cheap, even the box came all tatty. It's got its perks, like different ways to fish and it's good for the kids' coordination and all that. But at £15.99 (okay, £2 off with the voucher), I expected a bit more quality. It's a laugh for the kids, especially with the music and extra fishes, but seems a tad overpriced for what it is. The free Prime delivery and returns are handy, though. Fun? Yes. Value for money? Not quite.

I ordered the Doloowee Magnetic Fishing Game for our 4.5 year old son for Christmas '23.He's been playing with a similar product that his friend has and really enjoyed it.It also reminds me of my own childhood (a very long time ago) which just shows how long the original fishing game has been around for.The product arrived well packaged and in immaculate condition.The fishing game is a simple concept of taking a rod each and waiting for your turn to try to catch a fish whilst they rotate around the pond, opening and closing their mouths.The game requires 3 x AA batteries.You don't have to think too hard, which is nice! Game-play can last for 45 minutes to an hour in total (if you play several times).The product is made of good quality plastic and feels quite sturdy.It's relatively easy to clean with a damp cloth and seems like it will last for a long time.I think the original game had a bigger pond and a lot more fish, which would be better and to make each game last a bit longer.Overall, a lot of fun and quite good value for money compared to other games.

A simple but fun game for the kids, easy to set up out of the box and start playing. I like how there are two options where you can play with or without sound.The shark is very well designed and looks great for the theme, the fish are too. You get plenty of fish to play the game but I have found a problem where there will be a spare space if there are two players, so maybe putting in one of the spare colored fish to use as an extra point if a player catches it.Overall this is a fun toy for kids that will keep them entertained for hours.
