Heavy Duty Flag Pole, 25 FT 12 Gauge Extra Thick Aluminum Flagpole Kit for Outside House In Ground, 100MPH Wind Tested

This is a very nice flag pole kit that gives you everything that you need for installation. My daughter received a kit for Christmas and when I saw how nice it was I wanted one. Very strong, sturdy and should last for years. We added solar spotlights so that we could leave the flag up at night.

This pole is a really nice quality flagpole and very easy to install. We followed the suggestion of another Amazon reviewer who suggested tapping off the pole at the PVC connection to avoid getting cement on the pole itself and that worked perfectly. We actually used 100 pounds of cement to secure the pole, but let me say, my husband is an overachiever and dug way more hole than we probably needed! The pole comes with a flag and I personally would have liked a little higher quality flag. The flag that comes with this pole was made of a nylon type material and we did not like the way it hung, so we replaced it with a flag we already owned and it looks awesome. I would highly recommend this flagpole and give it 5 stars!

It appears to be good quality and very well made. It's a bit bigger than my last one but still just as easy to install. I haven't had any high wind speeds come through my area to test its durability, since the last storm folded my previous flag pole. One of the documents that came with the flag pole states you should take the flag pole down in the event of severe weather. This is easier said than done, unless you yank the pole out of the ground in one piece and bring it inside.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This a very nice flag pole. It is heavy gauge aluminum and goes together pretty easy. I used three 50lb bags of concrete for the base and that was enough. I have a 5x8 flag that really causes the pole to bend in heavy winds but it always came back straight. A freak storm blew through and caused the pole to bend but not snap and the base stayed put. Unfortunately because it’s aluminum it is now permanently bent and that stinks. I’m not sure I’ll get another one of these due to the weird weather we’ve been having. My other steel flag pole snapped and I was able to repair it and it’s straight so I’ll probably go for another steel one this time.

This is a great flag kit and done very nice for the price. A couple of improvements I made are...replace the small fragile carabiners to a better mor hefty ones and take that short 18 inch piece of thin pvc throw that away and use 2.5 inch schedule 40 electrical conduit and make that piece twice as long and cement that in the ground. The 2.5 inch conduit has the exact same inside diameter of the included thin wall pvc and the flag pole fits perfectly in that. The difference in wall thickness is substantial other than that this is a great purchase

I ordered this a long time ago, sometime last year. I am NOT a handyman at all, so I was afraid to attempt putting it up. I finally got up the nerve. I unpacked it, and read the directions. First, I used a pothole digger and put the provided PVC pipe in the ground (the hardest part), pounding it into the soil for the last 6 inches ensuring it was level (this was not part of the instructions).I assembled the pole as instructed and, poof, it was done! The whole process took about 20 minutes!I live in Florida, so I'll probably take it down for hurricanes, even though it says it can withstand high winds.

The media could not be loaded. Super easy to errect and display your flag. A little shaky but good for the price range.

So far so good , looks good in black and looks strong , will update as soon as the first hurricane hits but by the looks of it it should hold strong as long as flags are taken down.
