Amazing!
Wow oh wow these are amazing! I got this a while back for some miscellaneous custom mods on random plastic not for gunpla. Finally got a chance to use it and it exceeded my expectations. I wanted to trim off an excess piece of plastic on a lego windshield. It left a white mark as expected. I then applied the 3 grit system: course > fine > super fine. The result was a mirror finished. Using the coarse will remove the white mark but will leave micro scratches. The fine will remove those micro scratches and to level it up, the super fine will leave a mirror finish. Just amazing. Definitely recommend for those into custom modding with plastic!

Very happy with this glass file set
Well made, easy and comfortable to use, good thickness and seem solid, a great value for the money, works great for model building and cleaning up those nubs, I’m sure they will last for quite awhile.

As smooth as glass!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Do yourself a favor if you have never tried glass files and get these. It's wierd to consider a "glass" file but these remove material fast and can polish beyond belief. They are easy to clean and are a pleasant addition to you modeling tools. I haven't and doubt I wouldn't try these on things such a photo etch and would keep them as designated files for your styrene.

Very nice glass files. The reflective polish in the product images is no lie.
I wanted to take my Gundam model building to the next level so I thought I'd try Stedi's nippers and glass files. Other brands are the Gunpla community's darlings and charge a little too much for their name, so I thought I'd give this brand a try, seeing as how their prices are so cheap. The files look and feel quality. In their little plastic cases, they are 3.75"x.75", a nice little form factor. I used them so file down the nubs I cut with the single sided nippers and achieved a very smooth reflective finish. It's pretty cool. The plastic dust easily comes out of the grooves of the files for cleaning.

Great file, maybe not for picky Gunpla
Fine if you plan to paint over it.I bought these knowing I’d paint over the places I sanded and they 100% do the job I wanted. If you want a smooth mirror finish this isn’t it. It worked perfect for me and the different sizes are great.

A real asset in a model builder’s toolkit
I bought these for the first new model I had built in several years, and was very very happy with them. They’re inexpensive as an addition to a model builder’s toolkit, and should last indefinitely with care. They’re easy to clean, simple to use, and produce remarkable results. They are a good size and thickness for a comfortable grip, too. I would strongly suggest that if you haven’t tried similar files before that you give these a try.

Great starter files
I decided to get into gunpla and thought these glass files would do just fine, and they turned out better than expected! Here's some of my thoughts as a beginner. For the design:I was split between the four and the three pack but decided to get the three pack for the different set of grits. Honestly, I might recommend the four pack for the ease of use on getting the files where you want them but if you do go with the three pack, there's some upsides with the patterns they use on the fine grit in particular. You can really get in there with the corners and ends of the file. The four pack only has the traditional pattern and super fine grit so mileage may vary there as well. Also, I knew they were small, but they were smaller than I thought. At about the width of a sharpie, coupled with the fine grit cross hatch design, they are decent and I look forward to using them again. Some words to other beginners:I was expecting on only using the coarse and super fine grit but I actually rarely used the S.F., the coarse here and there, and used the fine on everything else. If you want a polished shiny look the super fine did a great job but for my use case, the polish made the spot where the nib was too shiny and I'd rather not have random spots stand out. Also at first I was very sheepishly cutting the nibs long and lightly filing them down from coarse to fine/s.f. but by the end I was cutting relatively close and just using the fine to shave off the last bit just to save some time. All of the files did a good job of removing material so don't think to hard about it, just do whatever's comfortable. All in all I expect to get some good mileage out of these little files and recommend them to anyone getting into gunpla. Do I think these are the only files you'll need, for a while yes but I wouldn't knock either getting both sets or trying out other brands to broaden your horizons but for starters, I highly recommend these.

Works great for model kit nub removal / cleanup
These have been great. Working on gunpla I've only been using the fine grit, but I've used the coarse some on 3d prints. Mentioned in another review, it actually leaves the gunpla plastic shiny so polishing with the super fine isn't needed. It's basically cleanly cutting away tiny shavings and the "grit" is super regular/even so I don't get the fine scratches that have to be removed with finer and finer grits of sandpaper or files. Quick and easy and I haven't had any problems with it clogging. Since I'm mostly using it for tiny nub removal, i just blow on it or lightly brush it off to get most of the plastic dust off, haven't had to rinse it yet.
