Country Rooster Paper Plate Holder

Had to put together ,hole did not Aline right. Still not able to use.

Wooden rods split unable to assemble correcrly bc of splitting rods. The glue that came with it did not work, let dry for days. Very disappointed. Bought this to replace one I have had for 15 years ( exact same) but that one came pre assembled. Waste of money, unable to use. Hoping I can return.

This product is decent, overall. I rated it 4/5 stars for a few reasons; The cylinders that hold the plates had a few small cracks and the holes for the screws weren’t quite deep enough. I had to drill into them a little bit and add a little glue on the cracks. The glue that came with it was no better than paper glue and I just tossed it. I used a good quality wood glue instead. Other than those two minor issues, it’s a decent holder. Admittedly I bought it with the intention of covering the image because I find it kind of ugly lol But the image quality is nice. Sorry to the artist that made it! The price is fair for the product that you receive, you may just need to fiddle with the cylinders a bit and I would highly suggest a better wood glue.

I was expecting it to be already ready to use. I was not very happy that I had to put it together. It came with 5 screws and one of them was defective and could not be screwed into the hole because the head did not have deep enough grooves to insert a screw driver. So I am going to have to go searching for a screw that will fit. The glue that came with it was insufficient and would not even come out of the little bottle. When I screwed a screw into one of the little columns, it cracked because the hole was not aligned in the center of the column. Also, I had to use my White Glue from the Dollar Tree to glue the little column pieces into the grooves. I would have been much happier with it had it already been put together. Overall, not a great experience. Suggestion to make the product better: Add additional screws to the package in case some are defective, or have a quality control person looking at all the screws. Add a bigger glue bottle. What you sent in the "kit" was ridiculously small., and the glue was not liquid but hardening, already. Include a screw driving tool. I was just fortunate to have a good screwdriver, but not everyone might have one. Make sure the holes are centered in the little columns., so they will not crack. Do that, or when you send it, already have it put together by a person who knows what he or she is doing.

When it arrived flat in a box I thought, Oh no, I have to put it together! But it proved to be amazingly easy to put together with the screws included, and the glue that came with it, which held up real well while putting it together. It holds the plates real well on the wall, and they're easy to pull out one at a time.

Just like other reviews. Mine had no glue in the box like others mentioned and I had to get creative to figure out how to put this together since the sticks were not pre-drilled. Then the sticks split just like in everyone’s pictures. Not pleased. I wanted something nice and expensive and this was not it. Better off buying the plastic ones. And what is an instruction shrrt????

We put this together and had it ready to hang within 20 minutes. We did let it set up for about 6 hours before we hung it and it's been holding up well. It serves it's purpose. Would I buy it again? Probably not.

I could not even assemble this! You have to screw it together and the holes were not drilled far enough in three of the 5 pegs and then one of the pegs was drilled too close to the side and split when attempting to screw in. Complete waste of my money.
