After two months of use, this well made sturdy magnetic rower has been great for home use during Covid. It is easily assembled and works well. I'm 5'11 and can extend fully while rowing. There was a minor issue getting one of the bolts in fully but the company was fast to respond and took care of the problem immediately. So many of the complaints about other rowers on Amazon were about poor customer service, that I was totally surprised with how excellent they were.I was used to the expensive fan rowers at a gym which keep spinning at the end of each stroke. As other's have noted, the magnetic rowers stop turning after each stroke so re-engaging for the next pull feels different than the expensive rowers. Yes, the $1200 rowers at the gym were better, but I have been very happy with the Merax and highly recommend for home exercise.

It arrived very securely packaged, in fact getting it unpacked was almost the most difficult part of assembling it, which says a lot for how easy the directions were to follow. I enjoyed using it very much until the loop around the handle came off and shot into the machines body. I attempted to fix it, but couldn't get it to work right after that. I contacted the company who promptly responded. They sent me the part I needed to replace to get it working again, and even made a video walking me through replacing the part & posted it online; the video was made that day so it really felt like they were going above and beyond to make sure that I had what I needed to get it going. I received the replacement part today, got it installed (with the help of their video), and it is once again working as desired.I've found that using the rower is comfortable and enjoyable. As an out of shape fat guy I didn't expect to enjoy using any kind of exercise machine, but this is great. The height is great for being able to get on and off of, as some of the machines I looked at were so low that I know my knees would have struggled to get up from. I am very pleased.

This rower was easy to assemble, provides a very sturdy platform to work out on and performs very smoothly. It has met all my expectations and more.

I liked the fact that this rowing machine doesn’t take up a lot of space, it’s also not horribly noisy. The unfortunate part is that it lacks resistance, I was able to start at the highest resistance and I haven’t worked out in some time, that being said my heart rate was up after a 30 min session.

I bought this machine following the advice of fitness instructor who said that an aqua rower is an extremely good piece of equipment. This machine is smooth to use, it folds away into a corner easily to make space, it was easy to build, it is comfortable to sit on and the handle is soft and doesn’t irritate the hands. It was delivered promptly and customer service was very helpful.

For the price, this is worth it. A few things to know. #1 the distance is only in meters. Can’t change it to feet. #2 there is a knob to control the resistance, it hardly does anything. There is not a huge range of resistance at all. #3 solid construction. #4 easy to setup.
