Original Butter Dish with Cover by Circleware 4 x 8 by CIRCLE GLASS

This was billed as holding exceptionally large (as in 1/2 pounds or more) blocks of butter. It does not. In addition, the lack of knob/handle makes it difficult to lift the lid. On the positive side, I do like being able to see how much butter I have without lifting the lid.

The dish is perfect for stick butter and it looks nice as well. Very happy.

This butter dish has a good heft to it and is made out of nice thick glass. A single stick of butter looks a little lonely on it, but since I'll only use it for butter on the holidays, the rest of the time I can use it for a nice chunk of blue cheese.

Finally, just what I was looking for. I love it.

Simple, glass, big enough for 2 sticks. I really did not want one of those cut glass fancy looking butter dishes so this one is perfect for me.
