Perfect for Me!
This machine is perfect for me as I’m the only coffee drinker in the house. It’s great to be able to easily grind coffee beans and brew for 1. It’s so simple - no hassle! It’s great that I can easily decide if I want ground coffee or to use a coffee pod. Love it!! It takes little space, holds enough water for a full day’s worth of cups of coffee & brews a hot cup of fresh coffee in no time. I can’t believe I read some previous comments about a few coffee grounds getting on the “drip” pan - really? You are getting freshly ground coffee beans to brew and that’s your complaint? Love my new Cuisinart coffee machine. It’s perfect for me:)

Great coffee maker and grinder
Best coffee maker and grinder. Works great, excellent value for money, very very fast brew, nice slim size, does not take up a large amount of space and isn't heavy. Very happy with my purchase.

Makes a good cup, easy to use, but...
It's a good single cup coffee maker, with some flaws... To be transparent around my rating, I bought two of these, so the flaws were not enough to keep me from buying another one when it dialed, but it did fail after a year and some months of moderate to heavy use (5-6 cups a day) The Bean hopper is large enough for several good cups of coffee. If I had to be critical, I wish the container side raised up a touch over the motor hub, as there's competition for space as you fill beans. The motor takes up 50% of the space, so beans bounce off it like it's their last shot at freedom. The first device would always make a sound like it's got a pump running quietly. After a while, all the lights would blink and needed to be unplugged. Coffee cup size would at some point become inconsistent... Eventually, this would be the startup ritual... until something inside finally gave up and I work to water all over the counter and the coffee maker inoperable. After replacing it, it's back to the well functioning single cup I've enjoyed. We will see if this is a chronic issue or just a single worn out unit and update from there. Other than those flaws, it's a really good sing cup maker with an integrated grinder!Coffee temperature:Not quite boiling hot, you can get to drinking immediately Durability:Ish. First one lasted a bit over a year. Taste:Makes a good cup. Your beans will come through. Size:It's compact and easily desk worthy. Fits any countertop.

Good but not perfect!
This, upon online viewing, seemed a great value. Simple design, small footprint, ability to store and grind beans and water were all great points! The main problem I see with the machine is its auto brew function. It seems to work as intended, but that is the problem. It is set to brew three specific amounts. The 8oz was measured at exactly 8 ounces which is good because that is what it is labeled, but what the manufacturers and designers did not seem to realize is that coffee cups usually hold 8 OZ. Who wants a cup of coffee where the coffee is to the brim and leaves no room for even the slightest tipping or bumping resulting in painful burns. This does not even account for those who like cream or sugar, which will clearly not even fit into the cup until some is removed. For an 8oz cup a maximum or 6 oz of coffee should be dispensed. As far as flavor it is on par with any brewed cup of coffee without the use of a paper filter. The filter provided with the machine works fine but you can always tell the difference between a disposable paper filter and a washable filter. The machine heats up and will brew a cup of coffee relatively fast. The auto shut off of 30 minutes seems very much excessive. The auto shut off should be instant because there is no heating to keep the coffee warm after it is brewed. So it should shut off automatically as soon as the brew process has completed. Waiting 30 minutes just seems like a complete waste to me. Overall I like the machine and I will be keeping it, although I hope if they decided to make changes they would send me a free machine because of the ideas I listed here. As far as recommendations it is really kind of iffy. If you drink coffee often and hate cleanup then this is a good machine.

Love this.
I love this. If you choose the grinder option. It’s will grind to the exact amount needed. However. It does get grinds everywhere. Kinda hard to keep grinds out of your coffee. I have a little tea strainer to filter out grinds. Cups work great. It makes great coffee. I have really enjoyed this.

A unique concept to avoid Hipster guilt!
This Coffee Maker + Coffee Grinder meets my needs and does what it claims. It's pretty and elegant and requires a small footprint. As a niche device there are some minor deficiencies. But I stand by my 5 rating because no coffee machine can be perfect. Like a lover, sometimes we have to adjust our expectations to have a healthy happy relationship, especially at 6 AM.Convenience: Grinding and brewing a hot cup of joe is easy and fast! No separate coffee grinder or mess required. It provides the convenience of a K-cup brewer without the modern guilt of creating landfill waste. If you happen to be short of beans, just remember that emergency stash of Costco K-cups you keep out-of-site from you lover and friends.Need to Know: Buy extra reusable coffee filter cups. Yeah, yeah, yeah... You're buying more plastic... More angst! But you still take your own bags to the grocery store, don't you?! It's much easier to clean several of them together once coffee time is done, rather than while half awake after your first cup. But wash your cups before bedtime! You'll be pissed if you have to wash them at 6 AM in a pre-caffeine stupor.Compatible cups are sold cheaply all over Amazon.Tip for Stronger Coffee: After grinding, tap the filter cup on the cabinet a few times, put it back on the grinder, grind four seconds more, tap again and brew. Don't put so much coffee that you have to force the lid closed.Small Gripes: The water reservoir is bit small. This would be an easy fix for Cuisinart on future generations of this product. The process is a bit messier that my old Keurig (but not bad).
