I first tried the more expensive GP brand repair kit to repair a circular crack and a 1.5 inch crack in my biscuit colored fiberglass tub but the color was way too dark so I tried this repair kit and it was almost perfect. The only thing this repair kit lacked was some white epoxy tint to help lighten the color but I already had had some to use. I mixed part A and B then kept adding the beige tint with a toothpick until I got the color as close to the tub's as possible then added just a very tiny speck of the maroon tint until I got a color match and used the white tint to lighten if it was too dark until it was the perfect shade and color. Be careful adding the maroon because even a little more than a tiny speck will turn it too dark and pink. Repairs are on the right side near the edge about a foot from the drain.

This is a well thought-out kit. The dyes are natural-type colors, making a match easier; the resin jars have pull-tab lids to ease handling; the toolkit contains several types of speaders and gloves. I was able to make a really good match for extensive repairs to my marble shower.

I had a divet in my granite countertop and wanted to get it repaired. This product did the job, but what a mess. The black paint spilled in transit so everything was covered in it. Color matching was a complete guessing game and had to attempt it twice before settling on just using what I could of the black paint.When I covered the spot, it took two passes to fill in the divet and I finally gave it a "good enough" pass. Sanding this down was very easy, but I still had a ring of dull black around the divet spot. I couldn't get it to clear up.If the item you are trying to repair has a color that is not basic, I recommend going to a craft store and buying something that matches because trying to mix the colors can be painful if you're not familiar with how much of each paint color to use. I chose to utilize the black to blend in with the other black areas of the countertop.The product works as described though and did what I needed it to do. I'm not sure how long it will hold up though, but I have faith it will.

It’s extremely difficult to get a proper color match with this product. The consistency is very sticky, and it’s hard to mix evenly. It would be much more convenient if the product came in a tube, allowing better control over the amount of glue dispensed. Only a drop or two is necessary when mixing colors because they are very pigmented, but the current packaging makes it challenging to measure accurately.I still have to scrape my fireplace, and I think this product will work for what I need, but it is incredibly messy to use. I went through multiple pairs of gloves and had to be very cautious about what I was touching. Be sure to wipe down your countertops and surrounding areas immediately to avoid stains.Overall, I’m not sure I would use this product again due to how messy it is. While it may be functional for certain projects, the difficulty of use makes it less than ideal.

Terrible colors. Supposed to be a set of brown and beige but they clearly don't know what brown is. Kit included orange, maroon and yellow instead of browns.
