First Call Inks SET551 6 Pixma PGI-550 XL CLI-551 XL FCI Printer Ink Cartridges for MG6350, MG7150, MG7550, ip8750 printer inks

I have used many compatible printer ink cartridges over the years, with quite different results - poor ink quality, cartridge not recognised etc. When I bought my latest Canon MG6350, I expected not to find compatible cartridges available as it was a recent model. I found First Call Inks through amazon and bought a set. Not surprisingly I had to replace all of the original low capacity canon cartridges within a month of use. To my relief, the First Call Ink cartridges all fitted without a hitch, were recognised by the printer and have printed photo results of very high quality. I am delighted with the output, and have already re-ordered inks from First Call, as they provide a genuine, top quality product.

We've been using these cartridges with our Canon MG6650 printer for well over a year now. My wife is a teacher and boy do we get through some ink printing lesson plans etc etc.!Delivery is always prompt and these cartridges have never missed a beat. To date, every time we have swapped them they have been ready to use without any faults, additional priming, cleaning etc.The colour reproduction is probably slightly lack lustre compared to Canon, but you'd be hard pushed to tell and even photographic printouts offer good if not excellent colours.Excellent OEM cartridges and First Call are to be commended on an excellent product. Right, now to order our next two sets!

As a keen photographer, I use a fair bit of ink to produce prints of my work to enter in competitions at my local camera club. These inks from First Call are used in my Canon A4 printer and I can honestly say that the results are as good if not better than those from my Canon A3 printer in which iis fitted Canon original cartridges. In fact I would suggest that in some prints the colour rendering is better.I haved used inks from First Call before in an earlier A4 printer and have had no problems and I have no doubts that these catridges will continue to meet all my expectations. I can therefore thoroughly recommend them to you.

Might be different for other customers, however, I personally have enjoyed using these.These cartridges are for the price, very very good.I have used these cartridges for printing onto CD's (fine detail and block letters) and fine detail/normal paper printing.A full printed CD (wording, and a full disc picture) was printed perfectly with no ink running. A barcode was printed on there too with no issue with the barcode reader being able to read it with no issue. I wouldn't use these if you wanted to print photographs, but since that isn't my intended use, it doesnt bother me too much.You will get 30 - 50 cds depending on how detailed the full picture is - however if all you want is wording, this will do considerably more discs.I am very happy with this product and I will buy again.I use a canon pixma IP7250

These inks are definitely lower quality than they used to be. This was my second set, but the colours were vastly inferior to my first set of inks from First Call Inks. The colours are faded and nowhere near as rich as they should be. I tried cleaning my print head with alcohol, several deep cleans - each time there were no blocked nozzles.It was about 6 months ago when I bought these inks and photos and images that were printed with them have already faded.Maybe I will try these inks again in the future. But in the meantime I have bought inks from another seller.

I own a Canon MG 7150. I am really pleased with these inks, the colours are vibrant so all my printing including photos looks great. The customer service I received from First Call Inks is second to none, I had a problem with the black ink not printing, contacted Amazon then had a call from First Call Inks where a very helpful guy called Gary very patiently talked me through getting it working again. It seems there was air in the head and a deep clean on my machine got me up and running again. This is the best customer service I think I have ever had, well done to Gary and all the staff of First Call Inks, I will certainly use and recommend your inks.

These are great substitutes for the original Cannon inks at a fraction of the price. They arrive promptly and well wrapped. Customer service is great too. One of the chips could not be read by my printer, phone First Call Inks up and despite having purchased them 11 months before, it was no problem and a yellow cartridge arrived 2 days later. You can buy individual colour inks in sets of 2 but postage is a little prohibitive . Would like to buy packs of 3 colours x 2 with 1 postage fee. That said, what is not to like about a quality at a very reasonable price and great customer service. Jimbo likes.

I had bought my Canon MG6350 for photo prints, which it is excellent with, however my wife and children quickly started using it and depleted the inks.I tried these as a cheaper alternative and they are very good.One of the first three cartridges I tried wasn't recognised by the printer. I contacted "First Call" who apologised and quickly posted a replacement which works as it should.Can't knock it but please bear in mind I have not tested the photo quality or longevity of prints or cartridges.I will update the review when I have more to offer.
