I still recommend this for any reader wanting to really understand why ...
This is one of the few books that has become a key influencer in my life. It filled with so many insights backed by factual data that it shifted my mind in how important mobile really is and how we need to re-imagine customer engagement and work for employees. Our old processes and way of thinking most of the time do not match the "mobile moment" that we as users have, where we need to accomplish a key task or objective very quickly in the context of our location and other contextual factors. Even tough this is a technology book that is getting a little aged, I still recommend this for any reader wanting to really understand why and how mobile is disrupting nearly every industry.

Mobile will have a huge impact on healthcare
This book has really opened up my eyes as a healthcare provider. The way we've practiced in the past has turned upside down. Patients have much more say in their treatment. Right or wrong, they have access to a wealth of information on the Internet. Many have done their homework and know what's possible. The successful few will embrace that and learn to deliver healthcare more on patients terms. In the end it's their body. I'm totally changing how I interact with my patients after reading this book. We need to learn how to deliver healthcare in a whole new way. I HIGHLY recommend this book.

Provocative take on the mobile revolution beyond just the technnological transformation, but how it really affects human's lives. It blended the uses with real-world examples to glean insights on how these rapid changes are already happening and how one can begin to think about all the possibilities - very well done.

Everyone In Business Needs to Read This REport
This is a great report! I have passed it around to lots of folks. It has been clear that mobile is a paradigm shift for some time. This report goes well beyond stating the obvious and gets into the fundamentals not only of the shift itself but also how to get our heads around new ways of understanding and creating value to customers through mobile devices no matter when or where they are. There is so much more to do, and it clear that if your business doesn't get it, your competition will.

The book is well written, I wish they had a companion website where we could see some latest stats around MMSI. The book quotes data from survey which is from 2013 and In this age when shift happens in 6 months the data point may not be really current.

This book is a must read!
By 2010, something a bit unexpected happened, the mobile revolution. While some may have seen bits and pieces of it coming, nobody could have foreseen the way it would influence our daily lives. I didn't expect to get so much from the book The Mobile Mind Shift. I was fascinated about these new opportunities. The device we hold in our hands is like a remote control to enrich our lives. This book is a must read! Thank you Julie, Ted and Josh.

Fantastic book for startups
Fantastic book for startups, designers, technologists who want to build mobile apps/ mobile touch points for their customers. The book shows the value of designing mobile apps but also talks about not designing apps just for the sake of designing it!

Great read
The beginning and the end of the book were fairly strong. I found the middle portion -part II-mobile business shift fairly week largely because the elements being discussed were more big data capabilities, (sensors on GE products etc) and less about the mobile. The chapter on engineering your product part III was a great read and eye opener.
