Baby-foot

I read this straight after Sac de Bulles. It’s an enjoyable read depicting the trials and tribulations of the author (with his two best buddies) , who is captivated by the American dream of fame & wealth in contrast to the austerity & shortages of post-war Paris, and doesn’t want anything to do with adult efforts to focus on mundane things like completing his education and getting a job in the family hairdressing business. It’s a coming of age story, which I found touching and engaging, which paints a vivid picture of the wheeling & dealing climate of the time. Not sure that I believed every word - in particularl, how his first night of passion unrolled! What I do find incredible (although not literally) is that all this is happening to a kid aged 14 - it feels as if he should be at least a couple of years older!To correct a comment elsewhere, Maurice his brother does not figure in the story at all and is never mentioned.

ce roman est dans la lignée de sac de billes !! tout aussi bien écrit, lu très rapidement, passionnant et cela donne à réfléchir encore une fois à la prise de risque, la débrouillardise et la maturité au cours de l'adolescence cette fois-ci... je me suis empressée d'acquérir les autres romans de JOFFO !!

La suite d' un sac de billes. Un ouvrage qui nous rappelle à quel point la vie est belle lorsque l'on s'y accroche avec autant d"ardeur que celle de Joseph Joffo

Encore un livre qui n'a pas intérressé l'ensemble des élèves.Je me demande comment sont choisit les livres scolaires.Mais le prix et la livraison sont corrects et rapides.
