It fits nicely but nothing would happen when it was touched
This home button did not work at all in my iPhone 7 plus. It fits nicely but nothing would happen when it was touched. When searching YouTube for videos demonstrating how to replace the home button there were some that stated that the home button was not replaceable. There were others who said it was replaceable and demonstrated how to do it. I understand the issue with fingerprint recognition.The original home button gave me a rapid fire affect. I had to be very light on the touch to get it to work. It finally decided to always give me the rapid fire affect. Unfortunately this replacement home button does not work at all. It just doesn't respond to a touch. I reinstalled the original hoping it would somehow work right but it didn't. I reinstalled the replacement button and still it would not work.

Pointless at best.
This is for show only. Literally provides no functionality, and the Assistive-touch feature will be disabled. If you still want to use your phone, buy an actual Apple button, it wont work, but the assistive-touch feature will pop up on the phone, and you can put a virtual home button on your screen. Or pay Apple $169 for something that they should do for free.

Doesn’t work at all
Installed as instructed but it still doesn’t work, I know the Touch ID wouldn’t work but the button doesn’t work at all, wasted 14 dollars , don’t waste your money.

functionality is non existent
do not buy this if your looking to use your home button for anything. it wont even recognize a click or even touch tap sensitive, its just for looks and serves no functionality whatsoever. i know there is a known issue about replacing the home button where u will no longer have touch password capability but this goes even beyond that and it doesn't recognize anything. if u want it to look pretty and look like it works then by all means get it. for this reason i gave it a star.

Don’t waste your time and money
Doesn’t work. No Touch ID and won’t click. Won’t eceb allow the phone to boot correctly. Don’t waste your time and money.
