Bones Bearings REDS are simply amazing. Since I installed them, the difference has been huge: my skateboard rolls so much smoother and with less effort. They feel fast right from the first use and require almost no break-in period. The quality is evident. They don't make any strange noises, they don't seize up, and they maintain a consistent speed even after several sessions. Plus, they're easy to clean and maintain, which extends their lifespan. If you're looking for reliable, durable bearings with top-notch performance without spending a fortune, REDS are the best option. Honestly, after trying them, I don't want to use any other brand. Bones REDS bearings deliver excellent performance. They roll very smoothly, noticeably improve speed, and feel consistent and reliable right out of the box. Installation was easy, and after several sessions they still perform great. Solid quality for the price and a big upgrade for any skateboard. Highly recommended.

I bought these to use in a custom 3D printed pencil cup I designed. They work great! And are easy to incorporate into non-skateboard projects. They're not the cheapest but they are worth it for the quality and consistency.

I ordered 16 in total for a pair of inline skates. Just received the bearings and installed them. All of them seem spinning freely, and there is no play. Cannot comment on the longevity and performance yet, but want to point out that these bearings are not sealed or permanently lubricated. What's covering the steel balls is just a dust cover. They came oiled, but it doesn't hurt to add a drop of light machine oil during installation. These are all consistent with the current product description (as 2/28/2025). 1. "Single, non-contact, removable rubber shield for easy cleaning and less friction" 2. "Pre-lubricated with Speed Cream racing lubricant" This also means that 1. they're not compatible with water or mud. if the skates rolled over puddle or mud, be prepared to clean and lubricate the bearings afterwards. 2. They may need a drop of oil before/during/after season. As long as your bearings are not covered in dust/dirt, to lubricate your bearings, you can just add a drop of oil to the center of each bearing and spin it. The oil will sip through the gap between the dust cover and inner ring. The bad experience from some reviewers may be related to these. BTW, please read the manual coming with the bearings. It has a lot more information that I expect. What is in the manual is consistent with the design of the product.

My package arrived way quicker than I'd imagine. It fit perfectly. The product itself is phenomenal and I highly recommend it due to the improvement in my skateboards performance. It gave a smooth, fast, skating feel.

Functionality: Spins majestically, like magic really Durability: very durable material but be warned that the spacers are made of PLASTIC. The bearing covers are extremely high quality, and the bearing balls and bearings themselves are god-tier, but if you don't have your own aluminum spacers like I did, you are kind of screwed. Value for money: Worth every penny. Spinability: absolutely perfect engineering. I am impressed as a semi-professional skater. Rollability: They are quiet, fast, and feels like you are skating on ice from how smooth they are. The only problem is the plastic spacers which can easily by replaced by a standard aluminum 8mm spacer.

I bought these in addition to some wheels and a new board. My son is very happy with the combination. We will most likely be purchasing again. He’s had them for quite a while and hasn’t needed new ones. They’re very durable

If you are wanting a little more speed and some more durability I would recommend these, I’ve used this brand for a few years now and their bearings have lasted for quite a while now. I will say I’ve had some times they have fallen apart while riding but that came with a few years of use. I bought these because I needed them for my longboard after a pair fell out while riding. These bearings are very durable for a few years and worth every dollar. Like I said earlier they’re good for speed easy to install.

Bearings are fine, but they did not come with the spacers, rings, or cream as advertised. I specifically ordered these because I was missing some rings.
