Android Bluetooth Game Controller, BEBONCOOL Bluetooth Gamepad, Wireless Phone Controller For Android Phone / Tablet / TV Box / Gear VR Controller / Emulator

I got this wireless game controller for my Nvidia Shield TV, because my official controller is being sent back under warranty. I messaged Beboncool to ask if it was compatible, and they just warned me that it is not officially supported for Android TV, but I gave it a try anyway.I got it out the box, charged it, put it in pairing mode, added it on my shield, and boom - Perfect!Absolutely no problems. It is mapped perfectly, works exactly as needed on every game, and also as the controller for android tv.It is set out in PS controller style, which I much prefer to xbox shape, but to each his own I suppose. I went straight into a few hours of GTA V and it felt like I was playing on a console.I really like how the analog sticks feel, very smooth, just the right amount of resistance to be able to go light or strong.Battery life seems good so far. I charged it straight away, and have had a couple of days of heavy gaming and it’s still going.I have just tried it on my samsung s8, and likewise it works great, I don’t play many games on my phone, but if I go on any long trips I will definitely be bringing it along.So for 20 quid, having a perfect controller for my shield Im happy!

Now in regards to the functionality of this pad, it does everything it is supposed so if you wish to buy a wireless budget pad this is an option.However it is an inferior option, and here's why 1) Awkward to hold, big, clunky, awkward to get your fingers around the d pad. The side panels used to house your fingers is far too high and wide which makes operating the analogue sticks inefficient and tricky. If you are playing an FPS you are handicapping yourself as getting accurate pinpointing with these sticks are terrible. I've also having recurring issue with my left analogue which sees my gaming character starts moving to the right without a key input, this messes with aiming and movement.Cannot hold a candle to the amazing Nvidia Shield pad.

I bought this controller as my Nvidia shield controller's left analog stick broke. I genuinely didn't know what to expect of this at such a low price. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised with this controller. It's been fine for gaming ,considering the original sheild controller is WiFi based and not Bluetooth like this one, I had concerns over lag but it's been good so far. Build wise doesn't feel as Solid as the sheild controller but it does everything you need it to do without the voice function and volume control of the shield controller. Over all for the price I'm quiet happy with it.

I bought this to play Minecraft on my tablet. It works quite well but has one huge issue. It sometimes locks in a direction after you have finished holding the stick. This can mean instant death in some games especially Minecraft where there are so many ravens and drops. I still like it but just can't trust it that much after it has stuck so many times. The stick doesn't physically stick but the signal seems to loop for a few seconds. It is light weight, charges easy but does feel cheap. Not that cheap either so didn't expect this issue. I would try another option unless mine was just a one off issue.

Controller is as sluggish as I am after hate eating all the cheap sides I got with my pizza delivery...I know I don’t need them but ordered anyway because “it was a good deal”. Similar to this, I purchased because it was cheap enough to use to play SNES emulator through Fire Stick, I could have just used my wired controller, but hey, we’re living in the future now!As above button response not up to scratch and took 15-20 minutes on some type of pairing spirit quest to find itself, subsequently it will take 5-10 minutes of summoning (yelling and cursing into the sturdy plastic casing) from an unknown dimension every time you want to use it.Just like a brief summer fling with a dollar store sex toy, It was used a handful of times and hasn’t been picked up since.Overall I wasted my money and will just buy a mini snes if I want to enjoy my retro gaming life.

Took about a dozen attempts to connect to my 2nd generation Firestick TV. Followed the instructions to the letter. I'm relatively Tech 'Savvy' so had to search google on how to do it! Product is now connected though & works fine. Shame about the initial 'pairing'

Was looking for a controller to connect to my firestick via Bluetooth to play games, came across this one and thought I would give it a go, it works great with the firestick, connected with ease, great for games and as a normal controller for firestick, nice to hold and use would recommend.

Great product, I use it for gaming on my android TV. Comes with a USB charger for internal battery. Also comes with mouse capability so it can be used with various apps.
