The can it shows in this review is not the one I’m reviewing. It keeps going to this color when I am reviewing the Pearl Mist that I also ordered. This Dark Cherry is a good color and I had no issues with it. I am updating my Christmas tree ornaments and wanted to freshen up the pearl ones. I could not find the color I need locally so I ordered the Pearl Mist. This paint is more clear with a little sheen to it. Not what I wanted. I’ve used this type of spray paint many times before. This can looked perfectly fine until I was shaking it and it started running down the can and splattering everywhere. Along with continuing to barely spray for a few minutes even tho my finger was not on the button, getting the spray everywhere. Needless to say it’s not usable. I may can get enough out to use a brush with it on something else. I think I’ll shop locally for paints so I can see the color and can deal with problems in person.

I am very pleased with this spray paint product. I painted my chipped black barstools with the “farmhouse greige” shade. After shaking the canister thoroughly, the paint came out clean and smooth. This is a high-quality paint that did not leave streaks or drips. The color was gorgeous as well.

Got a bad one the first purchase, it just leaked all over so I used up basically the entire can for one single small project. But ended up like the color and had enough faith in Rust Oleum so I got second can, worked perfectly, not leak or dripping. Don't layer too much and try to seal it off after it's dried instead of applying it right after. It works but it will take tremendous time to dry off if you do it that way. My one project stayed tacky for weeks.

I used it on all of my window trim and doors, and it gave everything such a beautiful, clean farmhouse-style finish. The color is a perfect deep matte black—not too glossy—and it completely transformed the look of the space.

Works well and looks great. Have stocked up on this.

Make sure to use outside, or in a well ventilated space. I made the mistake of using inside, and boy oh boy, the smell was so strong, and lasted for days.

The paint seems to be old. Each coat took about a week to dry after painting even after painting in very thin coats.
