Does it's job..
Great lil knife. Kinda bulky. Outside of that it's taken a beating, literally. Stays pretty sharp and sharpens like D2. No complaints at the price point..

cutting remarks
I bought this to replace a recently lost Maxpedition. I had a back-up Max that would need some breaking in and I came across the EF223.in the meantime. Glad I did. The blade is superior to the Max and much more stout. This is slightly heavier than the Max but emphasis is on "slightly'. Not at all a deal breaker. Blade release is very smooth and quick; smoother and quicker than the Max which worked better for me by using my thumb to initiate opening. It will take me a little time to adjust to this but it will be worth it. This knife is so quick and smooth that it is hard to believe that it isn't spring assisted. One problem for this otherwise excellent product: this was the orange handle version and the mold for it left pretty sharp (plastic) edges, especially at the clip end where it was notched for a spacer, screw securing nut. Reaching into your pocket for something other than the knife can nick your hand, as it did mine. Easy solution was to use a #220 to #326 grit sandpaper to smooth out those edges as much as you prefer to suit your comfort. I eventually sanded all the edges with more attention to the clip end edge. The plastic sides take well to sanding and don't seem to be cosmetically affected. I didn't worry about it much since the knife will spend its time out of sight and in my pocket anyway. I bought the orange version mostly because I have hopes that it won't be as easy to lose. Overall, this is a great product.

Awesome inexpensive knife!
So impressed with this knife! For under 20 dollars you can’t beat it! Action is incredibly smooth and snaps locked real secure! When liner lock is released it glides closed with no effort! Love the orange handle and feels great in your hand with a little grip! Knife came very sharp out of the box! Have done no adjustments because it’s perfect the way it is! The knife overall is a little bigger with a 3.5 inch blade so a little heavier than my other edc knives! Highly recommend this knife! Great Value!

Lovely knife...
I would have added "for the money" except it is just, period, a lovely knife. Fit and finish are amazing. Had and edge and holds an edge. Heaven knows I don't "need" another knife, but I bought a 2nd one and in the same color. I know, no imagination. I do SAR/CERT volunteering and bought the orange. Twice! I have Kershaw's that I don't like as much. It's a toss up what I pick up for my EDC these days. Can't imagine anyone being unhappy with their purchase of this knife.

Very Loose Action; Not as hefty as I'd have liked.
Good size blade and handle for an EDC, I got the orange handle because I tend to lose things and it makes it easier to see in a pile on my bed or desk. The texture on the handle is nice and feels good to hold in the palm. My main issue is that the action when opening and closing is very loose, even for a non-spring-assisted knife. Because of this, slightly more force is required to open it, and I cut myself once trying to close it early on, as the speed of the swing meant I didn't have enough time to move my finger out of the way. The handle appears to have been 3D printed from some kind of ABS plastic, and as a result, it is much lighter than I would've liked. The blade arrives in a small embossed box, and inside, surrounded by bubble wrap, sits the knife. Out of the box the blade was very sharp. I would handle a knife in person before buying another one, but this one does the job just fine.

Nice knife with pretty good handle
I really like the D2 steel used in this knife's blade. It hold an edge well but isn't too difficult to sharpen. It's a great balance of hardness and durability. The flipper action is smooth and fast. The blade stays securely in place until you flip it out. It doesn't take much force. Again, it's a very nice balance of safety security of ease of opening, and the knife has accidentally opened in my pocket. The edges of the handle were a little sharp when the knife was brand new, which wasn't very comfortable. The G10 wears down really slowly, so rather than wait for nature to take its course I did some light sanding on the corners of the handle, particularly on the side of the blade opening. Just a very slight sanding took the edge off of the handle and the knife is all the better for it.The only other minor issue I have is that the clip can't be relocated. Not a huge deal. For the price, this knife is tough to beat. I'd put it up against my more expensive CKRT knives any day.
