Q: The black ends is made of silicone or plastic?

And ours are dishwasher safe and can go into Oven. But on Amazon others almost aren't silicone, they are TPR, similar like plastic. Q: I have an odd size sing in my rv. can i pull off the flexible part, cut the rods and reinstall the flexible part to fit my sink?

But your said that your sink size is an odd size, that means some pipes are longest, some pipes are middle size and some pipes are short size. Although those black silicone grips are also flexible if all the pipes are too much different sizes then it's not an easier job.
