I have never had a monopod, thought several tripods. I recently acquired a 200-500mm zoom lens and it's a beast. One time shooting pics of youth football and I decided I needed a monopod. There are hundreds of these on Amazon, so I narrowed down to some known (to me) brands. I recently purchased a Sirui ball head and was impressed with its quality so i decided on this monopod made by the same company. Equally high quality. Very sturdy construction and excellent features. I especially like the tripod foot, though I wouldn't use it with my larger lens. It is perfect for table top use, and limited safe use in the field with a lighter camera/lens set up. Great product.

Lightweight, great value for the cost. Very strong. Fairly easy to use, and with the quick release mount makes it even easier to use with a camera. Extends to multiple different heights which is really helpful, making it super functional. Optionally use the legs, which is great for outdoor environments to easily pop them out or fold them up. Comes with a nice bag. Bag has enough room for extra supplies, but not a camera or similar.

I wanted a sturdy, well made monopod that provided versatility. I wanted one with a hefty feel, so the aluminum construction met that criteria. The locking mechanisms and panning feature are outstanding features. This model is value for the money. For me, comfort is defined as having quality equipment to work with.

I have never used a monopod prior to this so I cannot compare it to any other product. I have never used the little tripod foot thing it came with so my review covers just the monopod itself. Once I figured out how to balance my camera and carry this thing around I have not looked back. I use this with a Nikon 200-500mm and D750. It carries the weight and I trust it under all conditions. I have had it in salt water, mud , rain and sand. I clean it every time after use in anything other than grass fields. It is easy to use and quickly extends to move or to adjust height for various shots. I expect this to last for many years. It already has about 50 hours of use with only scratches where it rubs against rocks. No worries on that, though. I love this thing.

Good product and strong build

Bought this to record my daughters volleyball matches. The small footprint is really nice at crowded venues. Lightweight, breaks down / sets up easily and quickly. Survived several hit and falls.
