Needs An Already Installed Game System To Work
This arcade game box is a good idea for someone with a game system installed. I missed the directions that a game system needed to be available before this system would work. The directions for this game system assume that someone already has a hooked-up game system. The games in the system are interesting, and these would be ideal for those looking for retro gaming. The product description is accurate despite its vagueness and unclear requirement for a previously installed game system. It arrived in two days with no issues. I would not get this again because I am not interested in purchasing a game system to make this arcade box work.

Not a Refined Product for the Price
The media could not be loaded. With a little research (and disassembling it to see what was inside) I found that the board used in this item is a Q96 mini s905l-b - or basically a $15.00 smart TV box with Android that someone repurposed to make it into a game box by adding the Micro SD card and 2 game controllers. The original smart TV box came with an IR controller which this leaves out (but, you can still see the IR receiver on the side of the enclosure).I've done a Retro Pie project (basically a Raspberry Pi that has a game decoder on it) and I can say this is very, very similar to that. But, the Retro Pie seemed to have more modern (32-bit) games in it's list where I would swear all the games on this are only 16-bit. I couldn't find Mario Cart and the Sonic game didn't appear like the one I was used to playing. Game layout was somewhat difficult to navigate. There is a search and a game type category, but I would've liked to see a 'Nintendo' or 'Sega' or 'Commodore' section as well.Just to give this a try I did play Mario Bros 1, Sonic the Hedgehog 1, Galaga and some fighting one (I forgot, it was a random selection). What I found with all the games is that I didn't like the controller at all. With Mario and Sonic I constantly found myself falling off edges because the response time for the jump was delayed. The right/left control also appeared delayed (sort of non-responsive). Basically if I wanted to jump up onto a pillar and then jump from the pillar to something else...it was nearly impossible. I couldn't seem to both move and simultaneously jump. I would move, fall of the edge and then it would jump (too late). This doesn't make for a fun experience. I have a 8Bitdo Pro 2 controller that mocks this controller. I don't know if it is possible to use a different controller via the USB port since I didn't try.The controllers use 2 AAA batteries (not rechargeable). The battery lid was really hard to pull off (I recommend not using your nails lol), but not a negative. As mentioned above though, I don't like the controller because either it has a delay or it is just a cheap controller. The search I also didn't like because it uses a QWERTY keyboard which is difficult to use via a controller. I'd suggest throwing on a USB keyboard if you find yourself using the search feature a lot.Navigation wasn't entirely intuitive and I kept finding myself in the 'Settings Menu' where the only way to exit is to 'Save Settings' and reboot the device. There appears to be no way to back out of the settings menu (I tried all buttons to see - so unless it is a button combination, this seems to be a bad navigation scheme).I understand how the Retro Pie has all sorts of foreign games and games with strange names since it is open source and not a commercial product. But...I would expect a commercial product selling for 59.99 to have some amount of time spent cleaning up this stuff. I'm 100% sure that whoever created this just took a bunch of game ROMs, threw them onto the SD Card and called it good hoping to get premium price for almost no work. I made sure to take a couple pics to show what I mean. There are some games that have almost no variation (other than release date or country released) and yet they take up some 10 pages (10 games per page so 100 games that were almost the same game). So take note of that since 20,000 classic games isn't actually really 20,000 classic games. In many cases, the game itself is cutoff on the top and the bottom. I could not find anyway to fix this (no screen size changes). I use a pretty modern TV that normally adjusts to whatever the HDMI signal is. So my guess is this cutoff has occurred at a firmware level?? Anyway, as I said above...a 59.99 commercial product should be better than this.Knowing that the Smart TV box with Android on it sells for 15 and the game ROMs on this were acquired for free and the controllers are sub par...the 59.99 price tag is just too extreme and definitely not worth what you are getting. With these controllers I would think 29.99 would be more appropriate and if this had descent controllers than I would say maybe 39.99. This would only be worth 59.99 if the controllers were better and the game interface was actually worked on so that the quality of the games and the navigation experience was greatly improved. What's the point of 20,000 games when most of them are duplicates, foreign versions and not 32-bit. I think I'll go back to my Retro Pi

Nice Nostalgic Games
Product arrived in a timely manner - well packaged and had all the parts/pieces and instructions (see images). Easy to set-up on living-room tv - some somewhat complicated with the games, as most were not named as traditionally, but once figured out what games to play it was a nice nostalgic experience.

Easy to setup, Fun times
The console was easy to setup. Just plug in the power cord, hdmi, some AAA batteries for the controllers and you're ready to go. The controllers are PS style controllers without the rumble feature. Without that feature they do feel a cheap since they're so lightweight. The games are fun if you grew up in the 80s and 90s. I'd probably use your own controllers though.

Not bad for the price
This product had a lot of retro game, and most of the game I never heard of before, it would earn five star if the game runs smoothly, the game played really clunky, not as smooth as original, and I had some of the game from Super Nintendo, the original game played a 10 time smoother than this product runs, just to play the retro game of the childhood memories then it's okay for the price, it coming with extra game like the way they advertise, but just had to be careful with the button you press, you just might accidental delete it, and there's no way to get that extra game back unless you contact the seller I guess???... Hopefully this review will help out, cheers
