Fast, Reliable, and Future-Proof – Excellent Network Upgrade!
I recently upgraded my PC with the BrosTrend 2.5Gb PCIe Network Adapter, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I installed it, the difference in speed and stability was clear. Setup was quick and easy—Windows 10 recognized the card immediately and installed the necessary drivers without any issues. The jump from standard 1 Gigabit Ethernet to 2.5Gbps has been a game-changer for transferring large files across my home NAS and streaming 4K content with zero buffering. The included low-profile bracket was a great bonus for fitting into my compact build, and the build quality of the card itself feels solid and premium. The fact that it comes with limited lifetime protection is just the cherry on top—it’s clear the company stands by their product. If you're looking to future-proof your network setup or simply want faster and more stable wired performance, this card is an outstanding value.Highly recommended!

Works well and easy to install!
I upgraded my network to 2.5 GB so I needed these cards for my older computers which only supported Gigabit speed. The install was easy and I did not need to install any drivers in Windows nor in Ubuntu. They just worked! The speed tests show they run at full speed and work as advertised. This was a great purchase. And now all my wired devices on my network are connected at 2.5 GB.

Ezcellent
Perfect, plug and play easy to install. Quality is great. Don't forget you will need a faster ethernet cable more than likely.

Driver issues for Linux
Works as described. Full speed test successfully ran. Just hate RealTek hardware bc of driver support.RealTek drivers are the biggest pain. Especially on linux. Windows is a different story. If Realtek got their drivers working properly itd be a 5 star

Good NIC
Works great no drops in connection. I have had 0 issues with it since my original purchase 6 months ago. Also it's compact good quality for cheap price.

Works great on Windows 11 and Linux
You need to have a PCI slot available on your motherboard for this to be any use to you. Double check before you order one. Too many people buy a product that isn't compatible with their setup and then give it a low review. Instead the issue is with the reviewer. I purchased two of these. One is on a Windows 11 computer, another is on a Linux machine. Both were detected and connected perfectly. I only have 2 GB internet officially, but I got 2.3 through both of these adapters so I'm fairly certain if you have 2.5 GB internet, you won't be disappointed. Super easy to install (depending on your particular machine, of course). The weight of each adapter suggests high quality over the long term.

Ordered 3, One was immediately defective
For the price these appear to be good Realtek chipset base 2.5 gig Network cards. I ordered three of them as we're getting faster Internet at our house and the existing 1 gig Network was too slow. I installed 2 cards in Windows 10 desktops and one in a home lab server. One of the Windows 10 desktops immediately had connection problems. If too much network activity was going on, it'd disconnect then reconnect. This would happen over and over. Gaming with the card was not possible. Switched the Ethernet cable to the built in 1gb port on my motherboard and problem went away. Other 2.5 gb cards on the Network did not experience this problem.I'm returning all three of the cards. If one is already failed I don't have a lot of confidence in the lifespan of the other two.

Works with Linux... with some effort.
I bought this for a Mini-ITX OpenMediaVault server system I threw together. The motherboard only has GigE, but the rest of my local network is 2.5Gb. After much research, BIOS tweaking, driver installing and Debian commands, I was able to get this operational. As long as your system supports the Realtek RTL8125B, you should be able to get his card running too. It's a very affordable price and appears to have wide support among Windows and Linux system.
