Too small. I gave it to a friend, and bought me another kind from Amazon...Billy

This is my fourth tailbone pain relief chair cushion. I have one in the car, one in each of my office chairs ... both at work and at home, and this one which I bought for Dear Husband, who has been casting long glances in my direction. These not only relieve lower back stress but PREVENT it. I cannot say enough positive things about them. My oldest one is over six years old now and still performs well. No distortion of shape nor has its supportive ability diminished over time. I would like to point out that some of the accompanying photos from the supplier depict the cushion in an inverted position. The opening is designed to be positioned toward the back which allows the lower spine to float in the open space, instead of being compressed by contact with the bottom of the seat. It adds an entirely new level of comfort to sitting. Highly recommend.

It's hard for me to judge whether this helps with back pain since I don't have any right now, but I will say it's pretty stiff, so if you're looking for something to cushion a tender bottom, this probably isn't going to help you. Also, for someone new to this type of pillow, the way the logo is printed on the item might be confusing.
