I owned all 3: GV30,31,50
So, I think the winner is GV31! All have incredible design, sound, picture, and convenience(auto-focus, battery). Watching on ceiling while in bed is a must, and no extra stands needed. I’m literally considering selling my LG OLED tv, as the picture size is incredible. The little 720p GV30 projected onto my wall with a 180” diagonal, and still looked great! But the GV30’s Drop to 720p is somewhat noticeable as well as its lack of Netflix compatibility, but $250 is a perfect price, and you won’t be disappointed if u are a casual user or a young family watching movies. All projector have HDMI PORTS, but the GV30 is the only one that has just enough internal space to all the BenQ dongle to be replaced with an Amazon Fire Stick Lite. It will allow Netflix, and some people can turn the Amazon Stick into a video game console. The GV50 would have been the best, but it was incredibly laggy! Took an hour to setup, Google TV built in forced BenQ to compromise the quality of the user interface. I could stand the long delays with remote inputs, it was many seconds long, each click on the remote. Also, you can plug in your own Amazon/Roku/Apple TV into the ports, but for convenience and travel, it defeats the purpose to a degree. If you intend to use an Apple TV, or other dongle, then this projector is for you. But I prefer portability, grab and go, no extra parts, cable. The GV 31, seemed to have the least fan noise. I watch at night with very low volume, and the fan was noticeably less loud, however, a nice bonus. With normal volume, all three projectors produced incredible sound, you can’t hear the fan noise. For Yaber T and L, the fan was much much louder in comparison. Also, Android TV on GV 31 is better than the GV50 google TV, by far! If google or BenQ can update the OS and remove the delays, then GV50 would be the best, with 500 ANSI Lumens. But for now, using it was a nightmare. Please fix it BenQ! I’d pick up the following at these prices GV50: $600 or below GV31: $450 or below(Winner) GV30: $250 or below I kept the GV 31, seems to be the best value, in my opinion. Bonus, if you plug you nintendo switch directly into the GV 31 or 50, its works immediately, no nintendo dock needed! You need a specific USB-C cable that supports video and PD(power delivery) for about $15-$25. I recommend Belkin or CableMatters.

Game changer
Well designed and produces very high quality video on my bedroom ceiling. Excellent sound also. Complete control using the remote. Even portable with internal battery if needed. Huge size video, much better than normal TV screen. Auto focus. Works just like a Roku. One caution is to not change the language to something foreign since there is no factory reset and doing so converts all control to that foreign language making it worthless unless you speak and read Serbo-Croation for instance. Danger is you may never get out of bed again!! Just plug it in and connect to WiFi and you're ready to go. Also has HDMI and USB inputs which work well.

Misleading advertising
The advertising is misleading him that I can use with iPhone however, it doesn’t come with the attachments necessary for an iPhone, and it doesn’t tell you it doesn’t come with the attachments necessary. I spent a lot of times gathering pictures in order to display for my daughter’s birthday to find out on the day that I cannot display it because I don’t have the correct attachments. Of course I could have looked it up beforehand, but it was obvious that this should have been included in the packaging. The packaging also came in with a dongle which I’m not able to use because this type does not have a compartment to introduce the dongle. Too much time spent and not able to use. It is been very frustrating. I’m going to return this unit.

Portable & high quality projector @reasonable price.
BenQ GV31 is a high quality projector that is very handy( in terms of moving from one place to another), top class picture quality @1080p(projects beyond 100 inches with super clarity) and amazing sound quality for small rooms(without needing to connect to an external speaker). Additionally, it is so convenient to play or cast any media through built-in Android tv app, HDMI, USB, USB-C and has wireless technology to cast your phone wirelessly(icing on cake). Also, it is battery powered to take it out without needing any power supply for upto 2 - 3 hours. I am very happy with the product and hoping to use it for a long time.

The cheapest projector that is actually good
The streaming stick has every app including a chrome cast for when you have to find your teams stream online due to blackouts. The audio is fantastic and you wont need an external speaker. I've actually replaced my TV completely with this thing because there just isn't any point in using it now. It's bright enough that my apartment with 5 windows still didn't drown it out (Haven't even set up the projector screen yet). Do the bundle with the carrying case and get a lot of money off as well. It's worth the price.

Good picture quality and software
I’ve used the Anker Nebula and Samsung Freestyle before. But I think I prefer this one. I haven’t tried all the features like usb c input or playing form a usb drive. Software: The Nebula android is not licensed by Google, and so needs a browser based workaround to make apps like Netflix and YouTube work. They work, but technically, but you had to basically use the remote as a computer mouse in order to navigate. Not a good experience. The Freestyle software is Samsung Tizen, which is fully licensed by Netflix and Hulu and Apple, etc. But the UI is very slow. And Tizen has a limited number of apps compared to Android TV. Video: The Benq definitely has the best picture quality in terms of colors. Keystone: My main desired use case was off-center ceiling projection. Like putting it on a nightstand, rather than at the foot of the bed. The BenQ lacks any kind of horizontal keystone, so I put it at the foot of the bed for ceiling projection. The Freestyle has the better Keystone overall, both horizontal and vertical. Its horizontal auto keystone isn’t very good for ceilings, but you can at least manually adjust it. And you can rotate the picture for better correction. The Nebula has good horizontal and vertical correction, but no rotation like the Samsung does. Casting: AirPlay and Chromecast work on all of them, but BenQ has one downside with AirPlay: you have to use the remote to open a special included app every time to enable Airplay. Chromecast works automatically in the background without opening any special apps, but you just do it differently for Airplay. I’m an iPhone user, but I dont mind: none of these devices allow streaming copyrighted content, like Netflix. If you want to “cast” Netflix from your iPhone, you need to open your iPhones Netflix app and kid of use that as a remote to your projector’s Netflix app. Otherwise, doing Airplay or Screen Mirroring for YouTube (non copywrite videos) or your Photos app works just fine. Sound: I’m most pleased with the sound quality of the Benq and Freestyle. Good base and clear vocals.

Super Easy Set up and Decent Speaker
Totally worth it if you are looking for a space efficient TV. It has Netflix and YouTube built in. And Google assistant for your daily use as a speaker.
