Great crimper
Used it on 2/0 welding cable. Works great. No more mashed fingers using hammer and steel plate to crimp lugs.

WORKS AMAZINGLY FOR CABLE RAILING!
Great crimper, great price. Works amazing with very little physical effort. Crimps are solid. Handle actually springs back, making it actually possible to operate one handed. Tried another higher priced brand from Amazon and it was very subpar compared to this!

Crimpers are good, cutters not as much.
To be honest the cutters were something I thought would be a good extra, but they are so small that they don’t provide value for me. I think the largest wire gauge the cutters might be able to cut is 10 or 8.

Works great -recommend
There are a lot of choices on Amazon and I am very satisfied with this one. The case is nice. I have used it for 1/16" stainless steel cable and it worked so much easier than swaging with a manual tool.I do wish the dies would be better retained in the case.

Good for copper. No stainless cable dies included.
You can see a couple of crimps. One with almost no fin I used a larger sized die to start and then the correct size die to finish. They include a cheat sheet for wire sizes over #4. An even easier option without changing dies is to use correct size die first with gap at 90 deg to lug and just pinch enough to start crimp and hold wire then rotate so lug and die gap are same plane and finish. You can see difference in fin in the pic. Close to bolt hole didn’t do this and close to wire I did. Almost no find at all where I did rotate 90 deg.The description “about this item” in the first two paragraphs says 11 sets of dies 2 of which are for stainless steel cable. Pictures also indicate these are included. But the stainless steel dies are NOT included! Not sure why I paid $5 extra for a stainless steel cable cutter when there are no dies so can’t use the crimper for stainless steel cable anyway. Someone at Amazon should review this listing to make sure it’s clear what’s included and what is not
