Garnet Flats: (The Edens #3)

The perfect second chance romance
Talia Eden loved Foster Madden for one year, two months and eleven days. It was on day 438 that her love died. The day he chose to marry her best friend. The day she vowed never to think of Foster again. When I first read the blurb for Garnet Flats, I had the tiniest doubt that this trope would be for me.The ink on his divorce papers is barely dry, yet he comes armed with apologies and promises. She knows it’s all a ploy. Foster is the king of games and secrets. But he’s got delusions the size of Montana if he thinks she’ll help him train for a world championship fight. After a second, I realised this was a Devney Perry book, and no matter what, I trusted that whatever the narrative, I would love it, and I’m extremely happy to tell you I was right, Garnet Flats is the story you didn’t know you needed but you absolutely do!This isn’t your ordinary second chance romance, this is a once in a lifetime love that never died.Foster has some secrets to reveal and a lot of forgiveness to beg for, but when he manages to break through the hard shell of hurt his actions caused, he and Thalia can finally live their happily ever after.Foster is an absolute dream book boyfriend, he made a stupid choice when he was younger, one he never realised would mean losing the only woman he ever loved, but the pain he went through, the man he was then and now, is everything I love about a romance read.I adored Talia too, she was hurt beyond imagine with Foster’s betrayal, more than she even realises until Foster appears in her hometown and six years of anger burst free. She also paid the price for Foster’s bad choices and she doesn’t let him back in, or forgive easily, even when it would be easier to do so.I can’t tell you enough how good this book is. I absolutely love Devney’s Edens series and they’re just getting better and better, plus with the tease at the end, I can feel that’s going to continue with the rest of the Eden siblings.

Another excellent addition to the Eden's series
This book follows the third member of the Eden family - Talia and her second chance Romance with Foster Madden.I loved the setting of Quincy again and the Eden family make this such a lovely place to read about again.Foster moved to the small town and Talia who had her heart broken by him doe not want him to stay.Foster has some secrets that are slowly revealed and he sets out to apologise and win Talia back. It’s take her time to accept and consider what he has to say and when she feels she can move on their passion is once again ignited.A great story with themes of family, betrayal, children and community with some spice and again a great book in this series.

Didn't quite make it.
Some stories, which could be true, do not seem realistic as fiction. This one has a bit too much blather.

This book has my heart ❤️
Another instalment into the Edens which is in my humble opinion the best interconnected small town series out there. FIGHT ME I DARE YOU!This book we see Talia part of our much loved Eden clan get her shot at romance or should I say her second Chance at it! Foster arrives in town to win back the love of his life and that’s his one and only goal in mind. Talia after suffering a huge heartbreak from Foster seven years ago is now trying to make her way as a doctor in her small town! Oh man this book will rip you to shreds, the angst, the heartbreak, the tension!! It elevated me into the full feels mode and that is my favourite mode to live in while reading. These two are soul mates they have been through a lot and the connection they share is beautiful. We also get to see some pretty top tier grovelling and oh do I love it when a man fights for what he wants! SWOON!Talia and Foster are fantastic and the rest of the Edens as usual! I can’t wait to read the rest of this series!! The writing is everything you want and more and transports you to this beautiful world that you want to live in!

Another good read in this series.
Talia is now a doctor in her small home town of Quincy where all of her family live. Foster Madden was the man she fell in love with a long time ago but it still hurt to remember he went and left her to go and marry her best friend. Finding the man in her town was not something she ever expected and it sent her into a tizz. She wanted nothing to do with him but Foster was on a mission to get her back. He had bought an old gym and was converting it to get ready for his next fight. Being near to her was the first step in getting her back and telling her his secrets. Talia refused to join in his idea for them to get back together. The story is good with drama, sex and romance.

Second Chance Romance
This is a rollercoaster of a romance with a fair bit of angst along the way. Talia Eden is having a hard time being taken seriously as a doctor in the town she grew up in when along comes Foster Madden, her old boyfriend, trying to make amends for a disastrous decision he made years before. This is heart rending and moving.

Foster and Talia… 𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑹𝒀𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑵𝑮!
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️"𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒚 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆. 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒇𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒂 𝒇𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒇𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒂𝒕 𝑻𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒂'𝒔, 𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒅 𝒂 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑰'𝒅 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒐 𝒘𝒊𝒏."This book. That’s it. I don't know what Devney Perry put it in because it was pure magic! I could not put it down, I read it in a day. No shame! I loved this book. This book is heartbreaking, emotional, and it’s filled with so much suspense and twist that it’s not predictable. But, Foster and Tally’s chemistry is 𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒄! 🥵🔥Seven years ago, Foster broke Talia’s heart when he married her best friend.Talia, is such a badass women! She’s returned home to Quincy, Montana to finish her residency at her hometown hospital. She’s worked hard, but feels because of who she is, and who her family is, she’s not taken seriously. She comes from a large, and very loving family. One of six siblings and she has a twin sister. She chose medicine over a family run business. She’s become a bit of a workaholic since college. Her family noticed a difference in her when she finally came home but she refused to discuss this with anyone, even her twin sister.Foster grew up in a very different home environment. Living in Las Vegas, his parents were more concerned with where they would get money for their next bet (gambling problem). He has been held under the thumb of a man he once trusted. He’s finally come to Quincy to claim what he had given up seven years earlier. Talia. He’s willing to do whatever it takes for another chance with the only woman who has ever held claim to his heart. What he finds when he arrives, is an extremely angry and and hurt woman. A woman who was betrayed by her boyfriend and her college best friend."𝑼𝒏𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑻𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒂 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒎𝒆. 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝑰'𝒅 𝒃𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒚 𝒅𝒂𝒚𝒔."The Eden’s are wrecking me! I’m so obsessed with them so much, that I’m flying through the whole series! This family has been an loving escape for me and I’m ready to go to Eden Ranch in Quincy, Montana.**That sneak peak of Jasper Vale in the epilogue of this book 😱 I absolutely cannot wait to dive in and start reading it!

Oh god
this book make me sob so hard.i cannot describe how much i was protective over talia. so Foster haved to work for both of us, but i was definitely worth it.i love them and in the end i was supper protective over him too, but honestly i wish that didn't take him so long for him to go out for the love of his life. i mean... 7 years its a long time!i also wish that became more clear that he would have donne that even if arlo's was alive. because what if this guy lived for more 10, 15, 20 years?i also not like Viviane not even a little. i think talia should be more hard with her (and foster too).but i love talia and foster and wish a ton of baby for them.

I loved Talia
I am slowly starting to become a sports romance fan 😅 Talia and Foster’s story broke my heart and then mended it back together ❤️ Talia is SUCH a strong person but really struggled internally with her personal life AND professional life. Foster was straight to the point and knew what he wanted. And I truly loved that Talia didn’t give in to him so easily. This story, overall had both angst and chemistry and their love was so raw and real, it was just truly such an amazing story!!
