Good for pony hooves!
These are really helpful for small hooves or getting into places that a rasp can’t and a hoof knife isn’t sharp enough for.

These Are A Good Product
I approached Chinese-made bonsai tool products with trepidation. Long story short, I am so pleased with the quality, performance and feel of TianBonsai tools. I have been buying a new Tian tool as replacement to my old set every couple of months, and I'm almost done with what I need. The tools feel great to use, and they stay sharp. I do take care of them after each use with a non-scratch scour pad and 99% alcohol. I have just ordered a TianBonsai shears to replace the one I have from Tiny Roots. If I have to guess, I will be much more happy with the Tian. These tools are a real bargain for such good quality, and I'm glad I gave them a shot. I'm sure they're glad too, because they earned my business.

Way better than the carbon steel set, spend the money...
I bent my carbon steel one the second day I had it...This set is made better, fits together clean, is sharp, and just has a better more solid feel to it.It’s a beautiful bonsai tool, it feels good in my hand, and it cuts cleanly and smoothly. It has some Asian symbols engraved into one of the handles, wish I knew what it said...I think this is the 2nd tool I’ve ordered that comes from China and maybe this company(but I’d have to go look to confirm that...)they both got here faster than things come from a couple states away do sometimes...

Great for all sorts of uses!
I bought this to help in my business of hoof trimming. This super sharp nipper does a great job of nipping off small pieces of frog and bar without taking huge cuts. Staying sharp after a lot of use and just the right size for my hand with gloves on.If you're into Bonsai, I'm sure this will do a great job of trimming small branches without dulling.

Quality tool at a reasonable pricer
Disclaimer: I am a bonsai novice. Still, I have used tons of implements and tools in my life, and I think this tool is very well-made. The blades are sharp and they come together perfectly when I use it. It produces a very clean cut on the subject plant. For anybody out there who does not want to buy junk but also finds the price of Japanese bonsai tools to be prohibitive, in my opinion this tool is a very good option.

Slight blade misalignment
Overall it's a good tool the quality and feel of the peices are nice, smooth action even the blades separately are sharp. The blades have a slight misalignment that would cause a rougher

exellent
this is a high quality branch cutter , stainless steel, very sharp precise manufactured edge. I use this tool for cutting my thick toe nails. this cutter cut's with minimal effort. normal nail clippers did not cut my nails. Lucky I got interested in the art of Bonsai where those kind of tools are helpful, or I would not had found the solution for my toe nail cutting problem.
