Roth Dock - Wireless Audio Dock & Receiver for Apple iPod/iPhone

This is a surprisingly good piece of equipment and excellent value for money. It attaches to various audio systems for your ipods/iphones giving good reproduction through your system stereo equipment. It works wirelessly and has a useful remote control.I was very pleased with it. The only reason I gave it four stars is that it is basically giving your system an extra function and can never be as good as one built into your system.

Not good did not work.Return to supplier but they took £3.00 OFF REFUND!Buyers beware!

The plugs are not fused & when I plugged the dock into an extension lead it blew the fuse in the lead, the lead was replaced promptly, but I would recommend that you try them in an extension lead to prevent a main fuse being blown

i needed something to send play my ipod through my sterio and this was just what i wanted.sound is perfect. don't have any problems,would recomend it.

used for a month , then moved house have not seen since , worked well when I had it , maybe I might buy another one < if i can find my AMP ???

The idea here was to load the majority of my music collection onto an iPod classic and pack the CD's away.This dock station was a more classy way of doing it than the existing dock stations. I can't comment on the sound quality but pumping it through system, it sounded as good as playing the CD directly. It does the job.The remote gives you full control of the iPod but as it doesn't use video you need to see the iPod screen. So if all you want is audio it's fine if you want video look elsewhere.The only reason I didn't give it more stars was the first one didn't work no matter how I tried setting it up. However, an email to rothaudio and James Roth contacted me with some suggestions and when these didn't work sent a replacement unit, which worked, straight out of the box.

This is a quality product to use in conjunction with an AV receiver based home cinema system.If you an AV receiver and an Ipod - get one!It does what it says on the tin, there is no loss of sound quality through the wireless connection and it saves you bending down when an Ipod is directly connected tot he AV receiver.The only negative part is that the remote control is no that great, but if the dock is on an end table next to you - who cares.I thoroughly recommend this product - especially at such a good price as well.

Seeing all the reviews i thought i would give this a try...It works with iphone 4 which is good, out of the box it gives a sturdy impression and is very easy to set up...however..if you want to use the media capabilities of the iphone 4 with wifi connectivity you may have a problem and if you intend to use applications such as bbc iplayer, last fm spotify etc, the connection is lost if the docking station is located anywhere except next to your wifi router. 3g connection works however playing the radio all day on 3g uses up all your allowance thats the point of wifi at home isnt it? i thought that this could be dealt with and contacted support at roth, however my requests for assistance were ignored.My computer works fine on wifi playing last fm, iplayer etc, so it must be either the dock or the phone....even when the dock is located next to wifi router, streaming is effected by interference and locks on numerous occasions.....So out of the box five stars.....minus 1 as the dock cannot connect/stream adequately to the wifi router unless situated next to it, minus 1 for unhelpful support.... 3 stars overall ok if you only intend to play mp3 itunes from your phone....i hope roth support look into this and maybe contact me to advise how to stop the interference preventing wifi connection......
