I purchased 2 sets for very separate reasons. My senior mom who has difficulty using her hands is moving into assisted living. I thought this would be good for her so she would not need to worry about ice in her assisted living apartment. Second reason was for me, when I travel to Europe because they "do not do ice there". I am still in the experimental stage. If you use these in a liquid that is room temperature , they fail ...if it is with a refrigerated liquid, the jury is still out. I am thinking that if it is alcohol, you should keep it in the freezer. Another possible issue is if you tip the glass to get the the bottom, the steel balls will move forward and possibly chip your teeth. I might rethink and get the smaller plastic reusable ice cubes.

These are very heavy, and I’m concerned about breaking my larger drinking glasses. I bought them for water, iced tea, etc. and found that dropping a 2.646 oz steel ball into a tall glass is a scary thing, as is having that same ball rushing toward my teeth as I drank. And forget stirring sugar into the tea. Besides, one ball did very little to keep the drink cold.

I recieved the product in two days and I got a chance to try it. It’s pretty convenient to use. Also, it keeps the drink cold longer than regular ice cubes.

These are great! I really dislike when my drinks get watered down , These steel ice cubes seriously solve that problem! Also , they get cold very fast and more importantly they stay cold! I am a slow drinker so these are perfect. The steel looks very nice

The most recommended!! Great and simple solution to keep alcohol drinks from watering down when using small cubes. I am a whiskey enthusiast, I like my whiskey cold but not watered down so this ice ball keeps it cold and melts much much slower.

I've been using these since I bought them. I keep them in the freezer and pop them in a drink, keeping it cool for more that enough time. Great product.

Looks shiny and very stylish. Always hated ice watering down my drink.A brilliant invention.Tried it with my daughter's orange juice and she liked it too.It keeps the drink cool for a longer amount of time than regular ice,and retains a comfortable temperature for a good long while.

These do not get a drink cold, and do not keep a drink cold.
