I’ve put my ASICS running shoes through the wringer—two full marathons, countless training miles, and they’re still holding up like champs. The comfort and support are unmatched, especially on long runs when every step counts. I’ve never had issues with blisters or discomfort, even on race day. The cushioning strikes the perfect balance between responsiveness and shock absorption, and the fit is snug without being tight. If you’re looking for a reliable, marathon-ready shoe that can go the distance (literally), these are it.

Fit well and stylish. Comfortable, but just a bit too soft for my taste. Good support for mild pronation.

At one point in my life, I ran track and cross-country. Sometimes logging 50 to 70 miles a week running in every conceivable surface and environment you can think of. I thought I knew what a perfect shoe was. But that was years ago, and shoe technology has taken some small steps and a lot of giant leaps,(more than our now broken space program at least), since then. This twelfth edition Gt-2000 GTX takes the lessons learned from Asics running engineers, and applies them beautifully. With actual soul in the sole, I could swear they were purpose built for my feet and only my feet. Catchy shoe technology terminology actually means something again when you can feel it in every heel strike and roll of the foot following through. "3D Guidance System", Indeed. My legs feel like missiles in these shoes. Stable, supported, springy. How did it take Asics so long to get these so right? These being the GTX version means they have a "Gore-Tex", Full-Upper that is completely water proof and yet my feet never get hot, even during a Texan spring break. In fact the Upper combined with the ridiculously comfortable insole, feels like a warm hug everytime I slip them on. Like an invitation to go log more miles flat out. Even if I only intended to drive to the store. These shoes run truer to size than most shoes. If you are EXACTLY a size, stay that size. These shoes have a break in. Especially with the Gore-tex fabric. 5-8 miles should have them feelings like Cloud slippers in no time. The bottom has much less tread than I expected, and time will tell if that was wise on Asics part. They seem like a hard compound, so it's possible they'll make it to the next extinction event. Which I hope they do, because if it's the end of the world, at least I know what shoes to wear.

I recently upgraded to this model of ASICS running shoes after being a huge fan of the older version, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. The new tongue and back support have made this version even better than the last. I was torn between various colors but ended up choosing a vibrant yet not over-the-top pair, which is perfect for running shoes. The color is eye-catching without being too flashy. Following advice from a running expert, I sized up by 0.5 size and it was the right call. The fit is perfect, providing ample room and comfort during my runs. Having tried other brands like Nikes and New Balance, I can confidently say these ASICS are much more comfortable. There isn’t a single thing I would change about them. Highly recommend for any serious runner!

I had over 150+ miltes in this shoes. This is a A+ training shoes. They provide good stability and decent protection.

I bought the new version 13 of this shoe at a local running store. After wearing them around the house for a couple hours my feet hurt. They were to snug on my feet and on one foot it hit me wrong in the arch. I returned then. I noticed online that others had experienced similar discomfort BUT they claimed the prior year model was great. I took a chance and ordered these shoes. Right out of the box they felt better. After a couple hours around the house, I forgot they were on my feet. I am keeping them.

This STABILITY shoe will encourage u to walk Not my first Asics but the first Gt-2000 12 However my old shoe started to deteriorate after 3 years of soft wearing/using but it is worth it. It absorbs the step, then return the energy back to ur feet swiftly so u will feel u r not making energy to walk. Good ventilation, will help you keep your balance whether standing or walking. However not for use in rain or slippery roads, will be like rollercoaster.

Do 5 stelle perchè veramente ben fatte e valide, utilizzate solo per camminare tanto in ferie, no corse, rispetto al modello che avevo prima, sempre Asics con ammortizzamento alto, queste sono più pesanti e premono un po' più sulle dita, quelle economiche erano dei guanti per i piedi, erano veramente comode, leggerissime e mi hanno aperto a un mondo nuovo nella camminata, ma con il mignolo le ho forate/rotte (non so come, non sentivo pressione sulle dita), per cui la valutazione giusta di queste sarebbe 4 stelle, non hanno la stessa comodità estrema ma il gore-tex da una sicurezza in più in caso di pioggia, sono molto ben ammortizzate e la costruzione come detto è impeccabile. Infine io le ho pagate 120 euro ed erano scarpe da 200 euro quindi prezzo molto buono considerando anche il Gore-tex.

Poor durability. I normally get 6 months out of a pair of Aisics. These didn't even make 6 days before showing signs of wearing through at the heal. Awful.
