How To Make Native American Flutes

Before reading this well written and comprehensive book, I knew nothing of Drone flutes. With this book, it is easy to not only understand how these instruments work and how they evolved, but you can make your own. Can use simple tools and follow the step by step instuctions to create a sweet sounding traditional Native American instrument.

Good information but the hole spacing charts are all off 1 to 3 millimeters

This book is very basic not very good quality for the £16 i payed for it now its gets to the point in a very basic way but its got a lot of spelling mistakes some of them unforgivable and one of the most basic parts of making one of these flutes is measurements of the first stage the bore routing there are no clear measurements in the book So already at stage one you have to go on the internet to look it up defeats the reason of buying the book .For someone looking to buy this i suggest you buy the other book on single flutes by the same person as i believe it has full measurements for the bore And those measurements can be used for drone flute all in all the quality of this book is disappointing for the money asked it only has 36 pages buy if your serious about making flutes if your just wanting to look it Or as a read up pass on it not worth the asking price

Brilliant book , this book has saved me hours of scratching my head, trying to work out where to put the tuning holes. Works for single flutes too!

Book is great .time waiting for it was very slow
